Just called...she was kind of weird about it, but she said they were working on the final decisions right now. Honestly, I am so over W&M right now. She said "that probably means that they have everything and they are all set and good to go." Whatever that means. I would hope that if they had a decision they would just send it, but they are probably waiting to send mass rejects/waitlists at once. I bet she just didn't want to tell me over the phone. Whatever, University of Richmond it is.

Thanks for calling. I'm still maintaining hope that there will be acceptances as well as W/L and dings in this wave of decisions. Who knows though.

Makes me nervous that there aren't any boxes under "requirements"...PilsburysReveng wrote:Thanks for calling. I'm still maintaining hope that there will be acceptances as well as W/L and dings in this wave of decisions. Who knows though.

It seems like previous admits did have boxes before their decision.Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:Are other people seeing boxes there?SailorMoon9543 wrote:Makes me nervous that there aren't any boxes under "requirements"...PilsburysReveng wrote:Thanks for calling. I didn't even notice that square until today. Does everyone see it? ...it replaced stuff like "LORs, LSAT, PS," right?SailorMoon9543 wrote:It seems like previous admits did have boxes before their decision.Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:Are other people seeing boxes there?SailorMoon9543 wrote:Makes me nervous that there aren't any boxes under "requirements"...PilsburysReveng wrote:Thanks for calling. What does your square say? I thought admits (previously, could be different now) got boxes with things like "Seat Deposit" next to them...

Hey guys,
I think they made their decision a long time ago. My status checker reads "decision forthcoming.." but the date of that decision status is the same as when it read "held for further reviews" back in Feb.
I don't think they realize how difficult it is for us to just sit and wait. But who knows? They might still admit us

Square is empty. Didn't that part of the screen used to have a checklist for requirements though?

Same situation here. Box is empty, Decision forthcoming.

I'm definitely wondering the same thing - the boxes have disappeared in my status checker requirements section, but no deposit numbers either. i bet it's just a general notification since the date hasn't changed since the date my application went on hold.SailorMoon9543 wrote:+1PilsburysReveng wrote:Hi everyone, I'm in the held for further review boat. Does this mean all acceptances have already been released?

Is it necessary to be this negative? Not sure it is. Relevant questions are when did the "seat deposit" thing appear in admits' boxes in previous years, and do other people have something different than "forthcoming" right now?

Also held for further review and "decision forthcoming". I doubt it's an automatic WL/ding. There are a lot of people on lsn who are pending. Also because W&M doesn't have rolling admissions and held so many people I doubt they've already assembled their entire class at this point.

Fair point, it is probably more realistic to say that they are close to having assembled their ideal class and are making final deliberations, but that a number of admits will be included in the final release(s). The admissions department has been extremely courteous and helpful this cycle, and I'm sure they have a reason for doing whatever it is they're doing.ConLawNerd91 wrote:Also held for further review and "decision forthcoming". This is true. My negativity earlier was probably a combination of disappointment and extreme frustration at work haha. Sorry W&M didnt mean to project my work anger on youpeaches9848 wrote:Yup, I couldn't agree more Hang in there everyone!PattyCake wrote:Fair point, it is probably more realistic to say that they are close to having assembled their ideal class and are making final deliberations, but that a number of admits will be included in the final release(s). Maybe we are all overreacting and they just literally mean we will receive a decision by that date lol
