Georgetown emailed me on the 13th requesting interview. I said yes almost immediately. Radio silence since. Should I be concerned?

I don't think this is like calling the hot chick back..

Was it a group interview? It took them a long time to respond with the actual information about the interview- they sent out the request a week before, but didn't follow up until a day or two before my interview.

Same for me too. 13th, responded immediately, haven't heard back. It probably takes some time to coordinate with the alumni to find one in your area who can do it at that time period.

I go my alumni interview request the 15th of October and didn't hear back from my interviewer until the 13th of November. It takes a while for them to find a willing alumni, I wouldn't stress too much.

Has anyone gotten multiple status date updates (like 3 or more) and been rejected or wait listed? Or received no answers at all?

I had four status updates (alumni interview on my third which went incredibly well)...and was held.

I am sorry to hear that were you notified by snail mail or email?

And how soon after the latest update were you notified of being held? I've had 3 updates and then silence for weeks. I am thinking a ding.

Thanks, I'm hoping it's an acceptance when they let me know in Feb (they have to give me an answer by Feb 28 but it can be WL/deny). I got my fourth update a few days after my interview and then an email about two days after that.

No news is sometimes good news! Don't give up!

G-town email on 11/5 with alumni interview invitation. I heard from my interviewer on 11/7 and am interviewing this week. I would imagine some areas are easier to get willing alumni interviewers set up with applicants.

Having my group interview early this week.

People who've been accepted- did the status change to "Decision Mailed" or something similar first? Or did you just get the letter while it still says "complete?"

I submitted my application on 11/14 and it already says application completed. I applied ED and had the group interview in September. Any thoughts why it says completed so soon?

I am currently at my fourth (I believe) date change, three since my interview (11/8, 11/14, 11/18). Does this look like good news? Maybe it could go either way... I need some optimism on this dreary Monday.

Anyone else in a similar boat?

When I got in I got a status change Friday and then again Monday when my letter was postmarked. It sounds like a lot of the acceptances have been sent out on Monday's.

That is good news! I sure hope that they continue the pattern.

Does anyone know why they offer some people group interviews and others alum interviews? In my case I'm in the DC area so I could theoretically attend either. I was only offered an alum interview.
