Looking back through the thread, I've noticed quite a few people who have had multiple "completes" and status changes, then were admitted or given interview requests.

I don't think status updates are anything to worry about at this point. Of course it could mean anything but it hasn't meant something bad...yet...

So for me, I submitted Nov 2, but had a voluntary "hold request" on my file waiting for 2 more LoR's to come in (already one in). Once one of those 2 came in, I emailed them to remove the hold, and they did so yesterday morning. Got the interview request like 5 hours later. My guess is my app was read or seen already and the decision to ask for an interview had already been made but they wanted to wait because I had asked them to.

Anyone know what kind of numbers are needed to be competitive for the part time program? I'm at the 25th for LSAT and 75th for GPA of the full time program, but I don't know how that compares to part time. Wasn't considering part time until a recent offer made it a possibility.

According to law school predictor (which hasn't been updated with C/O 2016 numbers) you have a 54% chance.

How accurate is that predictor? Seems pretty generous...just trying to get a good idea so I don't waste more money on app fees.

I have no idea. I've been accepted to 2 schools so far and LSP gave me 44% odds at one and 59% odds at the other.

All I can say is I was waitlisted on a school that LSP gave me <5%. I know it's a waitlist, which likely still means "reject" in the long-run, but still I was pretty pleased to know I'm at least good enough to "stay in the running" and avoid an immediate rejection. It may be a case where softs are more meaningful than people on TLS think.

It really depends on the school. Berkeley can legitimately claim to have a wholistic application process, while Penn and UVA are straight up numbers wh*res. Just looking up their admissions charts on LSN is enough to make you laugh(or cry if you're in the doughnut hole like I am).

I know this is a Georgetown thread but did anyone get an email from Harvard Law School today encouraging them to apply? I don't really have Harvard numbers so I'm a bit surprised

They only email people that they consider 'auto-admits'

I politely declined the offer to interview at this time. Will this negatively affect my chances?

I'm new to the lingo, what is JS1?

I got that same email today, and was wondering too. I didn't think I even had a shot. But I can't imagine they would send out an email to every law school applicant in the universe?

Was just invited to interview - went complete on 11/4. I assume this is good news. But have they been interviewing all applicants, ones they like, or just those they are unsure of? I haven't been following the thread too closely...

IN.

Received an email with a scanned copy of the letter that was sent on Oct 28th. Apparently they tried to mail it twice and it came back both times.

I doubt that- I just got that email as well and am certainly not an auto-admit.

Any interest in me setting up a Google spreadsheet to track admissions results?

Any clue why you were emailed then? I didn't select Harvard as a school on my LSAC profile and am just surprised. I haven't gotten emails from any other T14 except Michigan

Ha, nope, no clue. There's no way they'd take me, maybe they're just trying to make themselves look even more selective...
