WL and withdrawn. I declined the interview request, so I'm sure that didn't help. Good luck, guys!

Preferred Waiting List. Any idea how many of us there are? Relatively speaking.

It's hard to tell, but I think quite a few. Georgetown's waitlist does seem to have more movement than other schools, though. Looking at past years' threads, people have been admitted from all three waitlists, and have received scholarship money after admission from all three waitlists.yost wrote:Preferred Waiting List. Someone has created a class of 2017 Georgetown waitlist thread.

Interviewed over the weekend. Thought it went pretty well. Currently a ball of nerves awaiting my decision.

standard response time after you complete the interview preference survey is two weeks, correct? nearly at that point and trying to decide if i need to send them an e-mail.

I'm stuck at that date as well. On the bright side we have survived 2 or 3 weeks of WL/dings and most of their remaining decisions will be announced this month.mysecretweapon wrote:+1 is there any hope left?checkin2014 wrote:Anyone still at 1/31 with no interview?

So, I just got my third status update date changed to 3/10 from 2/26. I interviewed on Feb 21. Any guesses on what this means? This is torture.

Re: Georgetown c/o 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
They took pretty much two weeks to get back to me about it. I had a Saturday interview, got the time and place I believe on the Friday before. That being said, doesn't hurt to call!! Good luck. I thought the interview was laid back and friendly.dcruss wrote:I got an interview request 2/26 and no one has contacted me yet. Should I call?

Am I correct in assuming that after submission Georgetown sends an email with status checker info? Confused because I submitted Feb. 5th and went complete on Feb. 6th. Everything on LSAC looks good to go. Above both medians. Did it take anyone else a ridiculously long time to get a status checker email? Is it worth contacting them? I feel like something could have gone wrong though everything indicates otherwise...z

Nothing in spam, I feel like I might have accidentally deleted the original email but that would be unlike me. I guess I might as well just wait until I hear from them and live on without a status checker.

Re: Georgetown c/o 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
When I didn't get a status checker, I e-mailed them to say so. They quickly got back to me and it turns out there had been some weird issue with my e-mail address. I gave them a different address and they sent the status checker right away.thecanadian wrote:deuceindc wrote:That is correct.thecanadian wrote:Am I correct in assuming that after submission Georgetown sends an email with status checker info? If it's a problem with how they communicate with you, you probably want to fix that.
Shoot them an e-mail.

I was invited to interview late February, replied yes immediately, and still haven't heard anything back about one. Is that normal?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
