Also had my third status update at 2 PM this afternoon. ED applicant, went complete 1/7. What were some indications from years before that you were accepted? Something about filling in the country of citizenship on the status checker page? Mine is empty/has been empty for some reason....

Re: Georgetown c/o 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
I have heard of this working in past years but have not heard of this being a definite thing this year. If you are lucky, you can do the ASW trick before the letter comes and you know you're in. However, no ASW =/= not accepted.mlaw08 wrote:Also had my third status update at 2 PM this afternoon. ED applicant, went complete 1/7. I'm sure that this has already been addressed elsewhere in the thread, but I was wondering what information (if any) can be gathered from multiple date changes for the "Current Status Date" of the application status checker. Obviously the school says it doesn't mean anything, but I'm curious what other people have experienced. I applied about two weeks ago, and now have been "Complete" with status dates of 1/30, 2/3, and 2/7.

Welp, that'll do it for me. Regular wait-list today. Probably a good thing as taking on that debt through early decision was starting to sound like a worse and worse idea...(damn right I'm going to justify this one).
Good luck all!

hmmm, I wonder how G'town is going through these...I assumed I would be one of the most automatic dings they had, so I am flummoxed that I haven't heard yet. I wonder if the pile of held applicants is prioritized or just alphabetical....

Thanks Sparky. I was actually a bit surprised I hadn't gotten the ding earlier, there were new circles of red rejects showing up on LSN graphs right around my stats when I was still waiting to hear anything! But no hold or interview. What about you? Good luck!SparkyZZZ wrote: Darn, I am bummed for you. Did you interview/were you held?

I had an epically bad interview (think Tommy Boy's first sale) and was held right after.chriskel wrote:Thanks Sparky. Went from 0 updates (last one was 11/18) to 3 updates in three consecutive days. Could this possibly mean I'll be getting a decision soon? I was a held applicant fwiw.

I think a lot of held applicants had updates on 2/4, 2/5, and 2/6 as well (if these are the three dates you're referring to). I was held as well and had these same updates, so I'm hoping to hear soon!LawSchoolHopeful5 wrote:Went from 0 updates (last one was 11/18) to 3 updates in three consecutive days.
