Congrats! I'm glad to hear this. My status changed to "application completed" yesterday (my interview was yesterday morning... I guess they're moving quickly).cesium wrote:Yup, mine did, and I received the acceptance letter in the mail today (postmarked 2/10, same as my last complete date).chizzy wrote:did anyones status checker change from "complete' to 'application completed?" i wanted to know if it had anything to do with decisions.

does anyone know if the "application completed" is an actual indication of anything or not? I feel like we all may be going a little crazy at this point

Judging from previous threads, the theory was that it changes to "application completed" and then your country of citizenship changes to USA. The majority of people that had those changes were admitted. But who knows? We are all just neurotic waiters.

Re: Georgetown c/o 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
haha that sums it up pretty well. I'm at "application completed 2/10" after being held in november, but no country of citizenship change. I feel like if it meant anything I would have either gotten a letter by now, or a ding/WL email.chizzy wrote:Judging from previous threads, the theory was that it changes to "application completed" and then your country of citizenship changes to USA. edit: but if anyone notices that there checker just says "complete" that may be good to know. Especially any of those held applicants who got the triple updates last week

Super late check-in!
Had to submit all of my apps pretty late because of financial issues securing my undergrad transcripts :-/
Submitted 2/9, Complete 2/12, 2nd Complete 2/14.
URM, #s are reachy, unique softs/background. Wish me luck!

Is there any evidence of weekend reviews/decision emails? I know that I have a long wait ahead since I just submitted last week, but I am curious.

I didn't submit until 02/09 - I'm right there with you! We'll see what happens!jk148706 wrote:Checking in
Very, very late in the game, but I just submitted.
I'm hoping the late submission doesn't hurt me too badly.
How many completes have you had so far?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
