1/29 update as well, not ED.
You may remember me as the girl who applied 11/1, and had completes 11/5, 11/12, 11/20 (group interview), 12/20, 1/6 and now 1/29.
Fingers crossed this is it - whatever it may be!

Welp I was just WL. Apparently there is a priority WL and a regular one, and I'm on the regular one. Good luck to everyone else!

Sorry Scotty, just keep bugging em and they'll have to admit you. I've got a very educated feeling based on your numbers I will be joining you soon.

Searching through LSN, nobody has been WL'd or rejected with my numbers, while also being URM.
Watch me be the anomaly.
Some foresight: I was held to waitlist to reject last year. No interview request. This year I was asked to interview and it was honestly my best performance, I thought, of the cycle. No retake for this cycle, but my resume was boosted and I also reworked my C&F explanation quite a bit.

Regular. I will probably stay on, but money is super important for me and I can't imagine I would get much in this position.scotth724 wrote:Regular WL or preferred?pompoms wrote:Waitlisted as well. With my numbers I am actually super psyched about that! Good luck all - it's been fun!

Also waitlisted.
Anybody know if any "non-prefered" waitlisters have ever been admitted?

After being held for almost 4 months, I was just put on the regular waitist. To be honest, I would have rather been flat out rejected.scotth724 wrote:Welp I was just WL. Apparently there is a priority WL and a regular one, and I'm on the regular one. Good luck to everyone else!

I know someone who was. They were admitted while attending orientation at another school, so really at the last minute.ChicagoDawg wrote:Also waitlisted.

Were you ED? There are some waitlist threads from previous years you can check out. I'm sure it happens from time to time though.ChicagoDawg wrote:Also waitlisted.

I agree. The false sense of hope is a dark place to be stuck in!

WL'd . It's a "preferred WL", but I'm not sure how much weight that holds. Going to do some research on last year's thread.
It's been so real, guys. Someone should start a "Georgetown WLers thread". I'm pretty sure there was one last year.
And anybody that has tangible knowledge on "preferred" as opposed to regular WL, now would be the time to tell us everyone gets in, in the end.
