I haven't paid that close of attention to the status checker, but did all of y'all start out with "Your application is being reviewed by the admissions committee?" Or did the status checker change to that some time after applying?

Mine went from complete to under review to admitted.

How much time was there between when your app went under review and when you were admitted?elideep wrote:jts723 wrote:I haven't paid that close of attention to the status checker, but did all of y'all start out with "Your application is being reviewed by the admissions committee?" In today via email! It went directly to trash for some reason, so I didn't even notice until now. So I should expect scholarship info in the mail this week correct?

Re: UGA c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Does anyone know if all UGA scholarships stipulate a 2.7 GPA? Got scholarship info today and was wondering if this stip was negotiable or if it applies across the board.
I know that sounds like I'm trying to be lazy but it just seemed strange when so many other schools in this range have no stipulations on scholarships

I'm fairly certain it's across the board. I saw that on generic UGA scholly info before I applied, and my scholly letter says the same thing. I think the norm is to have GPA stipulations but some schools just require you to remain in good standing.

Those of you who were admitted, would mind either posting or PMing your stats? I got an unsolicited fee waiver even though I'm below their median LSAT and right at their GPA median and I'm trying to decide if I have a chance at getting in.

Re: UGA c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Congrats everyone who has gotten in! I still remember that moment - such a great feeling.
To all those who haven't heard, my decision took months. Be patient. The occasional email might not hurt - but for the love of god don't go overboard.
To those waitlisted: I know a few people who got in from the waitlist, including people on law review. Stay strong.
For those who didn't get in: if this is really where you want to go, consider taking a year. I'd bet solid money that I'm older than you. It's not a waste of time to wait.
If anyone has questions, post away! I know I was deciding between a few school before I settled on georgia.
edited to say: I'm not good with 'where to live' questions. There are past threads that might help.

So, I haven't even received a status check e-mail yet and its making me nervous.
Everything's complete on LSAC. Maybe they just auto-dinged me? Haha. Oh God.
