Not yet, but I plan to. I'm waiting to see if I get any other good offers I can use as leverage. Let me know if you try how it goes!

I will! I'm trying to decide if I should wait to hear from Emory/vandy and send them one email, or try now and negotiate with my other offer.elideep wrote:wsparker wrote:Has anyone tried to negotiate scholarship with UGA yet?

Add me to that group. I figure at this point the "your application is being reviewed" note means I've been tossed into the recycling bin.amc10 wrote:Me too! Any kind of update would be niceitachiuchiha wrote:Ive been in review since november

Thanks so much for posting this! This kind if info is so helpful!BostonFuse51 wrote:I attempted to negotiate scholarship based on a T14 acceptance and some other comparable scholarships from peer schools. Got back a personalized message that it was still too early but that they'd look into it more down the road and get back to me.

Oh all right! When did you try?
I was just about to post this. I know there is good data for us to look at when making decisions, but this makes me feel really uneasy.lizjaffe wrote:I just saw this article today about UGA on Above The Law blog. This could be anecdotal. I think it's in all of our best interests to do some of our own research with an open mind to see what it's really like you know?Winston1984 wrote:I was just about to post this. If you go to ATL and check the rankings. Every alumni/student review of any >T14 mentions a poor CSO. Just the way it is.LyricsToLitigation wrote:This could be anecdotal. I also tried to negotiate and they told me the same thing. They said that they are still giving out initial offers and would look at increasing offers closer to the seat deposit deadline. I have been impressed with their admissions office so far, I received a response the day after I sent the first negotiation e-mail.wsparker wrote:I would love to know this as well!
