I got the same thing today, it's an application for a scholarship, so it seems they don't work out scholarships when deciding to admit/deny/wait-list.

Did you write that paragraph at the end of the scholarship application? Or just apply for merit aid?
I think so - I just mentioned some reasons why I'd be getting no family support during law school because I checked the box for need-based aid. Though, it appears that my scholarship is about on par with what you'd expect given the median drops. Also, it has no stips!
Congrats man. So you got the tuition down to in-state rate, and on top of that they give you 14k/year (42k in total)? That is simply magic! basically you are paying 5k for tuition per year which is insane
