Re: UF C/O 2017 (2013-2014 APPLICANTS)
I'm looking at the seat deposit agreement:
I affirm that I plan to enroll at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Fall 2014, that I have no commitment to attend another law school, that I have not deferred enrollment at another law school, that I will not apply to another law school, and that I have withdrawn from other law schools to which I have been admitted.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can still accept an acceptance from a waitlisted school, later down the road, right?

Yeah you could still choose a school that you are currently on the wait-list.

Yep! I was in the same boat. I called the admissions office and they confirmed for me last year - should be the same. As long as you don't have a deposit down elsewhere you are good.

Re: UF C/O 2017 (2013-2014 APPLICANTS)
Hello everyone,
I'm a law student at UF, the house I am living in is available if anyone is interested. The house is a 3/2. Rent is $940 total. Split 3 ways, rent comes out to $313. When utilities are included and its split 3 ways, rent is about $420 max. The house is less than 5 minutes away from law school, and less than a minute away from the Publix plaza on 34th and University. The neighborhood is quiet, the yard is big. Overall, its a great place to live. PM if you are interested and want more details. Also, feel free to PM if you have any questions about UF Law. Congrats to all the new admits.

Kind of disappointed there appeared to be no waitlist movement today at all. Historically, (past two cycles) the day after seat deposit deadline on this Friday, there was a first round of waitlist acceptances.
The waiting continues...

Hopefully it's because they are taking the time to go through applications again and not because they filled their quota.Tennislover8 wrote:Kind of disappointed there appeared to be no waitlist movement today at all. They've got it set up so you can jump in whenever. It's really cool to "meet" some of our future professors and get a feel for their teaching style.rdelaney wrote:I've been enrolled, but haven't payed it any attention. :/SailorMoon9543 wrote:Is anyone else taking the Global Students Introduction to Law on coursera that's taught by UF Law professors?

How is the course? Is it graded? I'm working this summer and don't want to make a poor first impression at UF Law.rdelaney wrote:Yea, I saw that. That's why I signed up. Haha. No, haven't head anything yet. It's honestly killing me not to know. Has anyone on the waitlist in this forum been accepted yet?!? I thought I would have better probabilities since I have 3 letters of rec from faculty members but still haven't heard anything:(

If anyone is still looking for a place to live next year, I just graduated so I am moving out of my condo that is located downtown above Dragonfly and Marks in Union Street Station. It's a 3/3, just under 2000 sq/ft, furnished with a washer/dryer and internet included. Rent is $1875 for the unit.

Just saw in the UF Law Class of 2017 Facebook that a few people got admitted off the waitlist. I hope it is some TLSers.

Re: UF C/O 2017 (2013-2014 APPLICANTS)
Question for any UF 2L or 3L TLS'ers
Would it be worth getting a vehicle parking pass?
I never bothered getting one while I was in undergrad, but I'm wondering if maybe it's easier to park around the law school in comparison to the rest of the UF campus.
Thanks in advance!

If anyone needs housing, I am looking to rent a 1 BR suite right across from the main campus. ($600 month)
(15 min walk from Law school, much less by car).
Move in as early as July 25th. PM me.

Bump
Does anyone know what UF policy on multiple LSATs is? I called the office of admissions and they said they only consider the highest score however the website says they consider all scores. Just want to know if I need to include an addendum.
