i'm on it as well.
really, i'm trying to decide between Emory, UNC, and WF if I get it. i'm exploring IP options and was wondering which of these be a good fit. UNC is part of the Triangle. WF is decently close to the same markets, and I like the smaller class sizes, and Emory is basically higher ranked and my ties are in Atlanta.
good luck to everyone on the WL.

In last week with $27k/yr. Best school I've been admitted to and the largest scholarship I've received. Hard to say no to that. Still waiting for UNC and GMU to let me know but right now it's looking like I might end up at Wake.

Do you have ties to IP in Atlanta? Because I think that would be a good choice then, but I'm not sure what your financials are.

Hey, I didn't have the Emory option but I really gave a lot of thought deciding between Wake and UNC for IP law. I'll post the thread below so you can make your own decision. Good luck!

minimal ties- like knowing some people that do tech transfers and family to fall back on, which is why i'm pretty open to moving around, but I'd still prefer the southeast or pacificNW. I'm not as terrified of loans as other people here because I have an exit plan if shit hits the fan. I think i'm narrowing to WF or UNC.
Money was the deciding factor eh? It probably will be the same for me, but I do like Chapel Hill more than W-S. I don't think I'll get a substantial scholly from WF (or even an admit) because i'm a reverse splitter, but if its anything close to UNC's then I'm probably going to be a tar heel.
edit: I know most of your are now gonna be mentally screaming for me to retake. I'll think about it ofc.

Just make sure you consider the tuition cost as well. Wake has a fairly high tuition. 15k at an in-state school can be better from a financial standpoint.

Wake's tuition is pretty low for a private school. Lower than the cost of several public, state schools (for OOS students).

I love Wake so much... but it ain't cheap. In-state tuition does help. Eaturgreenz is right.

My Wake scholarship actually makes COA at Wake lower than in-state sticker COA at UNC. Trust me, I'm paying attention to cost. We'll see (if I get called up from WL) if UNC offers me any money.

Dumb question but they send out an official admissions packet right? I haven't received anything yet and no mailings on the website listed.

Yes it's a nice one. Took a couple of weeks for me to get mine.

Mine took around a week and my scholarship letter arrived the next day. The packet is visually unique from other packets I had received, which I really appreciated. I was very disappointed in UNC's "packet." As shallow as it seems, I value the admissions presentation
a lot.

I agree. I liked the band (for lack of a better word) that said "Welcome To Wake Forest" around the packet. It was a nice touch.

Well, the FB group is up to 135+ so just based on that I would say probably around 130-155. I hope the class ends up being less than 150

Its been in the 170s the last couple years, IIRC. I just did a visit earlier this week and I'm pretty sure the woman I met with said they were looking at 160-170.

hmmm considering they are still sending admits and the class size looks to be almost full, its safe to assume that I could be riding this WL for quite some time.

In retrospect it will only mean a few more students per section. Lots of things could happen between now and August.
