Samesies for Deacon's Station and Alaris, if anyone has visited those. Thanks!
For Crowne, imagine the photos on the website without any furniture lol. They do actually look very nice.
I visited crowne oaks and park before withdrawing from wake. both were clean and beautiful. Alaris could not have been more different. The units were small, dark, and dirty (NOTHING like how they appear online). Definitely not worth the money you'd save by living there instead of a crowne property. As for deacon station, several 3ls at wake told me not to live there - it's supposedly noisy, less safe, and overrun by undergrads
Thanks for the responses! So you guys think I should reserve a Crowne apartment? I will most likely be at the house hunt, but I want to do my research beforehand.

The people I spoke to at Crowne said it's really hard to get an apartment at their property of you wait until the house hunt because that's when everyone does it. They told me to get on the waiting list ASAP for an august move in (and this was in March)

Try now. Supposedly all the Crownes are pretty reputable and the price to get on the waiting list is really cheap. Crowne was the only one I visited (heard horror stories about Deacon Station) and it was the only one I needed to visit. It's on the "pricier" side, but where I live now it is insanely cheap compared to what I pay -- especially if you get a room mate.

Thanks guys! I think I am going to go ahead and reserve one of the Crowne apartments. Now to decide if I want a two bedroom or a three bedroom...
