My status checker updated today with the date of the interview.

Also, I enjoyed all my interviews so far, but this one was very pleasant. Also, the person who interviewed me was nice enough to reply to my post interview thank you note, which was kind of awesome.

According to the spreadsheet the average is 51 days. I went complete 10/7 and was invited to interview on 12/12.

Hmm... Yes, but that is complete to Interview. I was complete to UR1 ~10 days, then another ~20 to UR2 I think. So, perhaps another near month until interview request (if I get that lucky :D )?

Question was for that specific UR2 to IR timeline. Is it typically long or short? Sometimes simultaneous? Is there no typical?

Just wondering but is getting an interview a really big step? I have a <25th GPA and <50th LSAT along with not-so amazing softs, so I was shocked when I received an invitation.

At first I thought the interview might just be to sort me from the denial pile to the waitlist pile, but would Chicago really spend time and energy to figure out if they wanted to waitlist me or reject me?

Sorry for the blah questions, but GULC's waitlist really hit me hard. :(

I'd say its a very good sign that you got an interview.

Edit: A lot of the people who were waitlisted never even interviewed, though I did just go back a few pages and found 4 or 5 people who interviewed but were waitlisted. Still, getting an interview is very good news!!! good luck!

Did anyone else's status checker change today (Saturday, what?)? Had my interview this week, UR on day of interview, now UR on today's date.

Why would they waste their time on someone on whom they were vacillating between denying and waitlisting? It's definitely a good sign for you, and considering that your numbers are subpar, they must like the rest of your app. The interview will be a great chance for you to showcase all of those soft factors. Good luck!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
