I went UR2 about a week ago but I'm almost certainly a WL. Does anyone know what the pattern is in that case? Should I expect a UR3 first? Sorry if this has already been answered.

I'm going to speculate that decisions will be this week, probably Friday.

Last time, there was a wave of interview invites a week before decisions went out, and I think there were also a lot of date changes for people receiving an acceptance. We haven't seen either of those things, have we?

My money is on interview invites this week (this evening, if the pattern holds) and decisions next Tuesday.

Yup!

Yes, the interview thread was an awesome resource for me. In terms of style, I'd say my interview with Chicago felt a bit more formal/less conversational than Harvard's or Virginia's - my interviewer essentially listened to my responses then moved on to the next question (rather than tailoring subsequent questions to my responses and making it flow like a conversation). Questions were all general, not tailored to my resume or PS. Good luck - you got this.

Does anyone know how interviews work? I know for some schools it's just to check that you are reasonably sociable (so it's basically an acceptance). Does a large fraction of interviewed students get in?

It seems like a large majority do but a non-zero amount don't, so still take it seriously obviously. If your numbers are in acceptance range and you get an interview, you should feel confident.
