Why did you fully expect it?calle_25 wrote:In case my info helps anyone: dinged today, quite frankly fully expected. Complete 1/30, UR1 2/7, UR2 3/4, URM between 25th and median GPA/LSAT, no "Why Penn" essay. Best of luck to those really gunning for this school!!

To be completely frank, I didn't put forth the effort I should have into indicating my interest. No optional essays, no why Penn. Hard to admit someone with below median numbers that isn't showing a very strong interest in your school. Send in those LOCIs y'all!Seoulless wrote:Why did you fully expect it?calle_25 wrote:In case my info helps anyone: dinged today, quite frankly fully expected. What kind of URM? Still seems kinda odd they'd straight ding you considering you're above both 25ths.calle_25 wrote:To be completely frank, I didn't put forth the effort I should have into indicating my interest. WL today with 3.82/171. Definitely submitting a LOCI and additional recommendation. Didn't write a "Why Penn", so I'll probably submit that with LOCI.

I like how earlier, somebody (possibly a lurker) mistakenly abbreviated "Why Penn" to "YP."

in! Above 75ths, no why penn, spent a month at UR2. I was freaking out about spending so long at UR2, but then it worked out. So stay strong UR2 people!!

UR2 1/28 -> anyone out there beating me? I'm developing a singular talent for waiting on law schools.

Hearing about all the UR2 2/14 acceptances is not making me feel too good about not hearing back yesterday.

Also a member of the 2/7 club! Submitted mid-January. Expecting a wait-list per the graph on the first page of this thread.kitkat123 wrote:me tooaction90 wrote:Still 2/7 here too. Its better than a rejection.
