Was off the forums last night being a real person (this Red Wedding situation should teach me not to do that again) and now I'm poking my head out of the foxhole and calling over to my fellow 11/22 peeps -- you okay Jessasaurus, okok, Specs, Let it Roll???

Hey MDLG, I didn't realize you were 11/22 too. I'm sorry to hear about your news. As we all saw this kind of thing happens to the best of us -- I'm not confident I'm coming out of this unscathed bc I was part of the UVa WL bloodbath myself.

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU and all the rest of us still hanging in the balance.

edit: MDLG you're in at HLS ---- soooooo yeah...hahahah! Congrats!!!!!!

Regardless of what happens, everyone should remember that less than a year from now, we all will probably not care either way. Time heals pain and absolves you of pleasure

No problem! I get philosophical when I am extremely nervous, which has been far too often this admissions cycle

Just got a call from a 215 number. Panicked, ran into an empty office at work, shut the door...aaaand, it's the CVS robot, letting me know my prescription is ready to be picked up.

Ha!

Do you panic when you get an email notification on your phone too? Cause I think everyone's there with you right now.

Penn is straight laying down THE LAW!

I would boycott CVS so hard. They should know better.

Got my rejection email last night sadly...had been expecting WL but now that I've read through this and got a sense of their trends I'm not at all surprised. 167, 3.7, RD, applied Oct., UR1 12/3 UR2 1/15. Wrote the two *other* optional essays but not the "Why Penn."

Ah well, already in at a couple of places I'd be very interested in going. Good good luck to everyone! Hopefully, as noted, the bloodbath is mostly over. I think the people still "stuck" at the earlier UR1 dates may actually be in better shape than those of us who went to UR2 this week. Just a hopefully hopeful thought. ;)

See you all around!

The robot even interrupted me when I was trying to answer all professional-like. So rude.

But really, as a Philly resident, I should probably be more mentally prepared for 215 calls.

Not really. I'm thinking about adding those as fields to the spreadsheet, but I don't want to make those things too unwieldy.

Yeah, people already screw them up as it is. I don't want to give them more opportunities.

Do you live in Pennsylvania, or is that just where the robot resides?
