I'm not so sure my numbers justify YP.

Penn is known for a bit of YP, which seems to be primarily based on LSAT

Checking in. Submitted on 01/02 - Application received and processing. How long does it usually take until a change of status? Thanks and good luck to everyone!

I called, but I'm not sure how it would work if you've already been deferred for ED1. Maybe just write a LOCI? Not sure how to handle that...probably can't hurt to call and ask!

I really wish it was possible to find out if any of these date changes mean anything at all. I would think there has to be some sort of sorting based on numbers or something but maybe not. Maybe they just throw all of the apps into a big pile and pull 10 off the top at a time.

Either way, let's hope we all get some good news soon!

It's because we both went to Michigan, that's gotta be it right?

12/3 here too. Here is to hoping none of the dates mean anything. Haha. But supposedly (based on last year's pattern) this week is supposed to have a flood of decisions, right?

kek5250 wrote:I am seriously squirming to get some news after being deferred.

Anyone write a LOCI yet? What should they say, exactly? Because, if I'm being honest about my feelings, mine would read a little like this:

"Yo, Penn.
You crushed my heart into a million little pieces but I'm holding out for you. I'm saving myself. Please take me back. I'm begging. I know you like cookies, so I made you 12 dozen because I like square numbers.

Happy birthday in 127 days. I already bought your present. (hint: it's an engagement ring)

Please love me. Call me. I'm waiting by the phone and I'm willing to take you back with open arms. I sleep with my Penn pamphlets.

callmecallmecallme!
Love,
deferred"

But I can't see that going over too well. Any suggestions for a way to not sound like a stalker when I write this?
Funniest thing I have read ITT, well in any of the threads really

UR1 12/3, UR2 12/19 and just now UR3 1/6. So I really hope that means a decision too.

When Penn says "the review process may take up to twelve weeks from the date of completion before a decision is rendered," does that mean you will for sure receive a decision within 12 weeks? Asking for a friend who got a completion email in early October...

UR1 11/21, UR2 1/6. I went complete on 10/7. Do they follow the "up to twelve weeks"? I wonder if this means they're forced to give me a decision (rejection) tomorrow :(
