Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Checking in. #1 choice of school by far. The ability to study at a fantastic law school and take classes at a top 3 business school is only paralleled by a couple of other law schools. Hopefully they are forgiving of my grades.
The ED will be going here as soon as, if not shortly after, applications open.

Crazy to see this thread is already up seeing as how I am still catching updates from our 2016 thread. Good luck and hopefully we'll see some of you next fall out in Philly! Feel free to PM if you have any questions about the application. Especially you splitters. Sitting at a 170/3.2 I can sympathize with the stress that comes with being on the fringes.

So, is Philly really as bad as everyone makes it out to be? Anyone have insight in regards to COL/weather/friendliness/dirtyness/transportation compared to other big cities like NYC/CHI/LA?

I was pleasantly surprised with what I was able to get for housing. I am splitting a 4bdrm apartment a few blocks away from the school with 3 other guys and we each pay $550 cant really speak of the other factors but from my experience during the short time I spent in Philly for ASW the city was fairly clean and people seemed just as friendly as anywhere else I've beent-14orbust wrote:So, is Philly really as bad as everyone makes it out to be?
