Oh no I just realized that everyone getting calls has a UR2 date several days AFTER mine...guess that means WL...

When was your last UR?

1/24...and I appear to basically be the only one ITT with that UR date

I'm still stuck at UR1 12/24, but I sympathize with this "pretty okay with getting waitlisted" sentiment. Of course an admit would be great, but they seem to be WL'ing people with my numbers (GPA<median, LSAT>75th), so I'd rather they just do it so I can withdraw and remove the status checker from my status checker folder. All for catharsis at this point.

Can someone explain to me the whole reasoning behind UR1 and UR2?

I went complete 12/11 and my current status date reads 2/4.

You're probably similar to my dates. I went complete 12/12, UR1 12/24, and UR2 2/4. I think complete means they have everything in your file, UR1 is when they first look at it, and by UR2 they've made a decision.

In terms of what those dates mean.......I wish I knew!!

Maybe? I think they picked a few high #s auto admits from the 12/24 and 1/17 groups to admit already. Some 12/24s have a UR2 and some still don't. I don't think anyone with a Feb UR2 has heard their decision yet, though.

Anyone care to take a shot at explaining why this UR1 1/17 wave is seeing such quick turnaround? As a 12/24 I feel sad and neglected and I feel dread.

Edit: could admits please post at least their median comparison? eg. 25-50 GPA >75 LSAT? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Don't give up hope yet. It took me almost two full months (12/3 to 1/30) to go from UR1 to UR2. Many people with my UR1 date were accepted or waitlisted long before I got to UR2. I think it's impossible to find much rhyme or reason in the UR dates.

Just got the call! Well, technically, it came about 2 hours ago and I missed it because I was at a work party. Thankfully they left a voicemail. Very excited!

I was UR 12/3 and then 1/30.
