That was definitely unclear. Initial "complete" 1/24, UR1 2/7, UR 2/24. I was a tad excited and just misquoted my little sticky with all my dates.ohpobrecito wrote:Eh, it doesn't surprise me if they had already reviewed his/her app with a past score and were just awaiting the update.Hitchensian wrote:That strikes me as a blazing fast decision -- at least for Penn -- and especially for someone who is not above both 75ths...Not to say this rudely, just making a curious observation.mazer wrote:In via phone call! LSN is a bloodbath in the last hour, I think we have moved past the worst of it.

For those who are receiving calls, what is your status listed as? Under Review or did it switch to something else?

Also, has anyone else been UR2 for a month or more and is still standing?

Looks like a ton of UR2 2/24 getting in. Makes me a little worried to be inthe UR2 2/17 wave

Condolences to those who got bad news. Is it safe to assume those of us at UR1 2/7 are being held and will hear back when hell freezes over (mid-late April)?mulhollanddrive wrote:Same here.bryanjbay12 wrote:UR2 2/7 Still standing...for nowMrMileyCyrus wrote:Also, has anyone else been UR2 for a month or more and is still standing?

Tough to say..one month isn't a ridiculous amount of time, but I think if we don't get a decision within two weeks, we could assume that. Most people who were 2/7 that went to 2/24 were accepted it seems, so you could be right though. I'm not surprised, are you guys splitters as well?Chalupa-Batman wrote:Condolences to those who got bad news. Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I'm a UR1 2/7, with a 163, 3.76 and very unique softs.
The only optional essay I wrote was the "member of a team" topic. Is it common for people to send additional optional essays mid-review? For someone in my position, would it be recommended to send in a "Why Penn?" and/or a different essay?
I apologize for the ignorance/newbness. Thanks for your help!
