+1.

I am roughly at 2.1 months and counting. I anticipate hearing word by the first week of February at the latest.

If I don't hear anything by the end of next week, I don't know what I would do.

Does anyone know if Penn send rejections by email or letter?

As an early Oct. applicant, I'm already past 12 weeks.
Sigh. I guess that's just another reason why this cycle has been soul-crushing.

I was waitlisted last year via email, fwiw.

Edit: I believe it was in mid February.

Here. Went UR on the 8th; hoping to hear back before the 31st. The website seems to hint at this possibility.

Almost wish there were an ED-only thread.
I'm UR1 on the 8th as well.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably just taking them a while to get to your file in the 12/3 batch. They will get to your file at some point here.

Under review 1, 2, and 3. They are tracking date changes on their status checkers. A lot of people hear from Penn after their second date change after going under review, so people keep track to try and anticipate when they might hear back themselves.

Oh, where does it show date changes on the status tracker? I'm guessing mine hasn't gone under review yet because it just says "file complete"...

Well you are probably a ways off but who knows. It looked like Penn started makings some decisions on RD folks just last week.

Someone still UR should probably comment since I can't remember exactly what the status checker said but in the status box on the right site of the page, there should be a line that says "current status date". It is the very last line in that box. It never says UR1 etc. People just pay attention to when that date changes.

The message at the top of the screen should change when you go UR, as well, I believe. I could be remembering that incorrectly, however.

I'm not sure where the frustration is coming from though. Penn started handing out decisions on RD just last week right?

Yeah, that's correct. The status will say "Under committee review" and then underneath you have "Current status date," which will change when you go from UR1 to UR2.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
