Did you check to see if the Fee Amounts were filled in on the bottom left side of your status check?

This is a bad sign isn't it?

No. That's what everyone's status checker says regardless of whether they're admitted, rejected, or wait listed. Do you have deposit numbers (600, 400) in the lower left area of your status checker page? If so, you should be in. If you're accepted, you'll typically get an email the next day. If not, you'll probably just get a snail mail notification.

Hah, it's pretty sad with the amount of time I have spent on this thread that I forgot about the numbers appearing trick.

Yeah, I'm in.

Congrats! Saw your update on LSN, I submitted around the same time as you so I'm hoping to hear soon too!

Goodluck! The wait will be over soon.

Do you have seat deposit numbers and dates in your status checker?

Congrats to all of the new admits!! Did anyone get to Decision Made without having multiple "Application Complete" updates? I've been sitting at my original "Application Complete" since 1/9, wondering if I shouldn't get my hopes up for a decision until I have additional app complete updates.

I think I had a second complete date a couple weeks after my first, then 5 or 6 weeks until my admit decision.

I had initial complete at 1/8, one status update at 1/22, then decision today.

I had Decision Made today as well. Updates 1/8, and 1/22. I do have seat deposit numbers so I am optimistic that the trend will hold and I am in. I hope the letter comes quickly so I can have confirmation. Congrats to everyone else!

Will be email. Not until 1st week feb for anyone. I would imagine recent admits will not be in that first wave. But that's all speculation.

Those 2 people on LSN are from last year, updated 8 and 10 months ago, they just selected the wrong cycle in their profile.

ND & Kyle can speak to this more fully, but if you're in Indiana w/out a car, you're gonna have a bad time.

Current student at NDLS. Gonna go ahead and disagree with this.

Rent doesn't really have to be that expensive. I am living in the on-campus grad residences now and it is $490 month with everything included. It's nothing super fancy, but it gets the job done. You can easily choose to spend twice that at some of the newer places.

I know people with and without cars. I have one, but I could get by without one. ND is a super easy campus to walk. I walk to class everyday. Maybe a 10-15 minute walk. A LOT of people bike...even in this snow, wind, and cold. Also, if you need/want to get to Chicago, the train is an easy and cheap option.

Yeah, it's possible, but I would not recommend it.

I haven't gotten my acceptance letter/email yet, but I do have #s for the deposits and I just received a school letter email about ASW.

Yeah, no acceptance email for me either, also just got a school letter email about ASW. I emailed them asking why they were sending me emails about ASW if I haven't been admitted...wonder what they'll say...

Edit: Emailed them and they immediately sent me an acceptance email.

I received the Admitted Students Newsletter and then about two hours later got the actual acceptance email. Now to wait on scholarship info.

Grocery for one would be a problem. That being said, I know plenty of people living at FOG with or without cars. The problem without a car is that you will have to arrange something with someone that has a car to go off campus. Even to get to and from the train station, unless you wish to cab or match the bus schedule all the time.

Is it doable? Yes. But I would not recommend it.
