I was really trying to avoid using the status checker daily....too tempting.

I went complete 10/8 and interviewed 10/9. My status is still "Application Complete" but the date now reads 10/14. Does ND do an "under review" step before they go "Decision Made?" Does this date change mean anything at all?

I don't think ND does an "under review" step. At least I don't remember seeing one when I was a 0L. I think applications only became available on Oct. 1 so I'd be very surprised if they started sending out decisions already.

Why don't you just convert?

Just convert. Then convert back. One of my friends converted and attended Loma Linda med school. He says it was worth it. Then he converted back to his old religion.

Not sure where being a "militant atheist" would come up in your application but your religious beliefs have no impact on their decision. However, you should consider whether you want to attend a Catholic school if you're a militant atheist. While no student is forced to pray, go to mass, or participate in any religious activity, you will have some religious students in your class. If you are ok knowing that some people around you are serious about their faith, then you won't have a problem at ND. But if you feel like you need to show every religious person how ridiculous their beliefs are, then ND might not be a good fit for you.

Same here. I mean I will definitely apply with a waiver, but without one no way I apply.

Thinking about just paying the $75 for the app but I SHOULD get a fee waiver. Just haven't gotten one yet.

applied with a merit based fee waiver, like the idea of the school but I didn't write the essay (didnt really have any good ideas for it). Sounds like it was more neccessary then I thought. Think i could submit an essay after the fact?

this wait is killing me. Decisions went out almost two weeks ago last year.

Does it mean anything if I didn't get an update in November like some have? I went through three updates in October, so that may be it. Either way, hopefully we'll get some decisions sent this week

I do have that need; ND sounds wonderful.
