That's fucking hilarious. Hopefully you'll hang with us at STL and use the printouts of your cyberbullying as napkins to wipe away the grease that delicious St. Louis-style pizza. *high fives self for culturally relevant joke"

That....that....that is absolutely hilarious!

I can only imagine the type of basement dwelling neckbeard who prints out TLS comments and confronts their "cyberbully".

Everyone peacing out of South Bend? I'm down to chill if people are still around today/tonight.

You should have hung out with us. The WUSTL Scholly Explosion at O'Rourke's was a good time.

That was pretty awesome. We were there to witness Lebrarian Booker get his almost full ride. That moment dramatically changed his life.

I left after the panels today. You didn't really miss much.

In Chicago for the day.

Just got back from ASW, and I feel SO old. I mean - I knew the average age at ND was young, but....

Anyone who was at ASW willing to share details about how it went/general impressions?

I was actually pretty impressed. Very friendly people. The facilities are the best that I have seen so far, and the Faculty/Staff was very impressive. The students seemed a touch on the conservative side. I would put the city of SB at about a B-
To be fair though, they have been through a ridiculous winter - so I am sure the streets won't look like Beirut in the 80s once the weather warms up and they can start fixing stuff.

Alright, I need some advice. My scholly is only for 12k/year, and especially after ASW, I want to go to Notre Dame more than anything. I absolutely love it, and it's the best school I have gotten into. Should I take the plunge?

Totally depends on your goals, where you want to work, what ties you have to that region, how you're financing law school, etc, etc.

Generally, I would feel uncomfortable at that price, but I'm sure there are people for whom that might be a fine decision.

I went and second this review. Though, I might have drunk too much of the kool-aid.

It was delicious, doe

They asked during the 1L panel how many were set on ND, and about 15-20% raised their hands with the rest unsure.

I'd definitely say that I could tell that everyone I met/overheard/stalked was smarter than average. The questions, comments, and answers I overheard didn't seem vapid or hollow.

Ton of qt's too, if you were curious about that.

I went to ASW. Had similar feelings about the other students. All seemed intelligent, not sure about conservative though. I don't think I had enough conversations to reveal that.

I also agree with the "qt's". I am a female talking about the males, btw.

I loved the campus, wasn't very fond of South Bend but the beauty of it is you never have to leave the campus and I think the lack of distractions would make studying easier. What did people think about housing options? I'm leaning towards Eddy Street Commons if I attend.

After looking through the suggestions from current students, wanting a garage, and finding a place that allows pets...it boils down to The Foundry (Eddy Street Commons) or University Edge. Overlook seemed awesome, but no garage is a deal-breaker. Fisher seems ideal, but no pets.

I am considering either University Edge or renting a house. Did anyone go on the on-campus housing tour?

I went on the housing your. I didn't love Fisher because it was on an edge of campus that felt remote. I liked Eddy Street Commons area better because it felt ALMOST like a cool urban area and more like a community versus a low income apartment...

haha true, if Eddy Street Commons is where Brothers is (I'm pretty sure it is), that was probably as nice as it gets in South Bend. Those are pretty expensive from what I heard, but I'm going to consider it.

I live at the Foundry (Eddy St Common), so in case there's any question about it, I'd be happy to answer them. Hope you all had a decent time in SB despite the weather.
