I still think there will be decisions today.
There's no way Johann would say the week was going to be like one of the worlds fastest, tallest roller coasters then just release a handful of decisions....right?

You're assuming TLS and/or LSN is a sufficient sample size.jk148706 wrote:I still think there will be decisions today.

I think Johann would tweet with a ridiculously clever youtube video if and when decisions were being released. He's too cool not to.JustHawkin wrote:You're assuming TLS and/or LSN is a sufficient sample size.jk148706 wrote:I still think there will be decisions today.

Look, rollercoasters have a slow assent followed by a sudden and quick drop... to me that says a late and possibly negative round today. Punch me if I'm stating the obvious...

Re: Northwestern Law c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Last year there were a total of 492 admissions outcomes for NU on LSN. NU reported 4548 applications. That's roughly 1 in 9 for total applications. Since yesterday we only had acceptances reported, there were 216 reported acceptances and WL-Acceptances on LSN out of 864 reported total offers, for a ratio of exactly 1 in 4.JustHawkin wrote:You're assuming TLS and/or LSN is a sufficient sample size.jk148706 wrote:I still think there will be decisions today.

So, assuming that everyone reported who would do so eventually on LSN within 24 hours of being accepted yesterday (Highly unlikely), there were maybe 20 or so acceptances yesterday. If half the people who would report reported, then 40 acceptances, and if 25%, then still only 80.

I'm pretty sure Johann has tweeted about decisions at about 5pm before. I'm not giving up on today yet.

Or maybe johann isn't tweeting about decisions today bc every time he does, we crash NU's website (which is why I'm refreshing my status checker non-stop right now... Just in case)
