Submitted today via PT. So I guess I'll have some news in a couple weeks.

Still no Duke fee waiver, blah. I'll keep waiting though, almost without fail I have received a fee waiver from schools within 24 hours of me paying for the application fee.

Waiting on my undergrad school to send a letter to Duke outlining my CF issue (minor drinking violation in the dorms). The fact that this is delaying my application being reviewed is very frustrating.

My status went to complete and then didn't change at all until I got "Decision made, wait for email." I got that change about 20 minutes before getting my email, so hardly any delay.

I will say, though, my email got filtered through spam, so everyone be careful of that!!

This is a dumb question, but when you're counting the 10 days, do you count the day that the file went complete as "day 1" or do you count the day after as "day 1".

Not dumb at all! I went complete on 10/18 and got my acceptance email in the evening on 10/28. So I did the full ten days, counting the 19th as the first day.

PT: complete Monday or Tues, now it says "under review." Is this the last status check before the decision?

As I recall, mine went from "under review" to "decision made; watch for email"

Someone else might have personal experience with a Sunday reply (mine was a Monday) but the way I see it, they say 10 days because they mean 10 days. Otherwise they'd qualify that to be "Ten days, excluding sundays" or something.

In RD (actually decision came in late oct. big packet with goodies came afterwards too). I like how fast Duke is. Hoye wrote out a personal note on the letter which was a nice touch.

I believe I just received a RD acceptance without PT. However, it says I am not officially admitted until I submit an application for scholarship assistance. Is this just a method to Yield protect in case I am not actually interested? So they can claim that they only "officially admitted" 10%? I hope it means I am in because I really want to go here.

Is anyone applying to the JD/LLM in Law & Entrepreneurship? Did any of the 1Ls/do you know people who did? It looks like an extremely cool program and it meshes really nicely with my interests, so I'll probably apply. I'm curious what you guys think though.

I applied for that. I met a few kids at duke who were doing the program. I was surprised to hear how small it is. I don't think that most people apply for it. I'm currently an MA in another graduate program so the llmle will overlap with the last three weeks of graduate school. I told duke that it would be relatively easy to make things work between the two but I'm not sure if they will be interested in that kind of uncertainty.
