Post up any PT invites from December scores if you get them!

Same boat. I went complete 9/19, under review 9/24, and then update to under review 10/15. Been stuck there ever since.

I just submitted my app yesterday after december scores came out.

I got a PT/Fee waiver e-mail after the October LSAT but I didn't see any mention of priority track when I was submitting my app. DId I need to check off some box or something or is it automatic?

The PT/fee waiver email included information on it, IIRC. I'm not sure how necessary it is or if they'll just automatically recognize you as a PT recipient, but the email gives you a link to this:

http://law.duke.edu/prioritytrack/

I filled it out a day or two after submitting my electronic application without issue.

ooh thanks for the link. I clearly need to start reading my emails instead of skimming them. I had no idea we had to register for PT.

I just filled it out. Hopefully it works because I don't think I can handle waiting months for a decision.

If you submitted before registering for PT, you may want to send the office a quick email letting them know in case it screws up their system.

Hey everyone! Long time lurker with a question to ask. :)

I got PR'd a while back and now I want to write a LOCI to increase my chances. But since I don't really have anything new to tell them or LOR's to send in, should I mention the other schools that admitted me along with their scholarship offers? I was thinking to spin it like "hey look at the great offers I got, but I still really want Duke!"

Or is that not a good idea? :/

To me it sounds like it would be really hard to do this without sounding entitled. If you submit a really well written LOCI then you'll be better off. By not having anything new do you mean that you already submitted a "Why Duke?" If so then just do some more research, or possibly contact some alumni or something; there's a lot you can do to provide yourself with more fodder for discussion in a n LOCI.

My gut says you shouldn't do that. At the very least, I wouldn't address the schools by name. Maybe include a sentence like, "Although I have been accepted to other top law schools, I am still very interested in attending Duke."

Thanks for the advice. :) I've been thinking so much about law schools its getting to me! :P

I'll probably do what Pneumonia suggested and dig up something for a compelling LOCI that isn't just a regurgitation of my "Why Duke?"

Feeling frustrated with PR but hopefully a better decision will swing my way once I send in the LOCI. *fingers crossed*

Checking in after getting my Dec LSAT! Still working on my Why Duke, hoping to submit by the end of this week.

Weird q, but back when I got my Duke waiver, the option of PT was not extended to me - my LSAT was right at their 25%... is there any chance they may offer that option to me now that I have jumped above their 75%? It would be nice to hear back quickly, although it's not that huge a deal, certainly not a big enough deal to e-mail them about, in any case.

Didn't get the priority track last time around with only a 160 LSAT/3.7 GPA but just got back a 169 December score. What is the estimated time frame for this new batch of PT invites? Anxious to get my app in.

Congrats! I was admitted on a Sunday day too, it's weird feeling but Dean Hoye must be dedicated!
