Was everyone who was recently admitted a PT applicant? I wasn't extended that offer. :/ but i also went complete 10/31.

Sent my application on a Sunday, it was complete on Monday, and under review on Tuesday.

Don't despair if you get waitlist/Priority Reserve. It is not a graveyard. People WILL get in off of them, and it does not mean you will get no money.

If Duke is what you want, just keep stressing your interest to them. Be as specific with your reasons as possible.

I'm so glad your profile is better. It's very important to me. I'm amazed at your humility and I wish I were just like you. Thank god for your status - and I'm glad that, like you, I haven't heard from Duke also. I love hearing your experience, but your conditional clauses may/may not be slightly worrisome! But - no worries! You're such as sweetheart!

Not sure what's happening here, but what I was going for was that if someone who had a better profile hasn't heard back yet on day 8 either, then you should have nothing to worry about. if someone with a better statistical profile hasn't gotten an acceptance, it probably just means they haven't gotten around to them yet, rather than anything bad about your particular app

what? ok pretend kevin durant is competitive for all-nba first team but doesn't know whether he's gonna get it. the fact that lebron hasn't been tapped for it yet should tell him that the nba just isn't ready to announce it, since that's a more plausible explanation than KD thinking he won't make it

I don't think LEP was sarcastic. I think he was sincere when he said that you made sense

Also, since I'm from Boston maybe Duke thinks I have a realistic chance of getting into Harvard based on my numbers and overall application and I would never come to Duke(this is my very very very optimistic view)
