Congrats to all those admitted and to those who were WL: do NOT lose hope! Last year I was in the second quartile and heard back July 1. I have no doubt they went into the third quartile and even the fourth. This school is oh so well worth the wait!!

Hello 0L family!
Would any one of you here take an as-of-yet undisclosed grant aid offer from Columbia Law over $100,000 from Berkeley, or full ride to UCLA? I am interested in Entertainment Law. Please just give me your thoughts!!Im extremely conflicted
and GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE STILL WAITING!!!keep your heads up!!

Re: UC Berkeley c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
So, right now it looks like Berkeley is my top choice unless Columbia/NYU accepts me. I realize that the final response isn't due until June, but housing apps are accepted on a rolling basis so I'm wondering if I should submit everything now since I want to live in the dorms during the first year.
BUT, if I confirm that I'm attending Berkeley right now and by some miracle Columbia/NYU accept me a month or two down the line, are there any consequences for pulling out from Berk?

To all those wait listed: It's June 3rd (a day after the earliest day Berkeley would have given us a response) and I was wondering if anyone was contacted by admissions yet?

To everyone on the WL: I withdrew my spot yesterday. Was a very tough decision, but hopefully it will go to someone even more deserving than myself! Good luck.
ETA: by that I mean I declined my admissions offer and withdrew my spot in the c/o 2017. I was "tentatively accepted" before that.

Re: UC Berkeley c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
I am curious about this as well. There is a separate waitlist thread, but no recent activity on it thus far. By this time in many of the previous few years, applicants had received a "Possible Waitlist Action" email already. Has anyone called or heard anything?smoshkovich wrote:To all those wait listed: It's June 3rd (a day after the earliest day Berkeley would have given us a response) and I was wondering if anyone was contacted by admissions yet?

Re: UC Berkeley c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
So this is most likely a stupid question but last years thread had people getting in off of the second quartile of the waitlist. Does that mean everyone in the first quartile were also given admission because someone off the second quartile did?
