My boyfriend just got the email 30 mins ago! 166 LSAT 3.6X GPA. FR1 Complete 11/15
It was his dream school I'm so happy for him

So first and foremost, congrats to all the new admits.

In re-reading the 2016 thread, it seems like there were two days of FR1 admits -- and both days seem like they were calls not emails. Then on the third day, ding and W/L emails. No idea if this is significant or not.

As we all know Berkeley is pretty unorthodox, so we can't rely much on patterns and such--as evidenced by previous cycles. So, those in FR who didn't hear today, maybe Dean Tom is going to call Mon (if it's not a holiday for them)/Tues. He probably couldn't make calls today, because he had to go get flowers for his wife. So enjoy your weekend everyone.

That's absolutely untrue. There's no way they're done regular-admitting. The deadline was only 2 weeks ago, we have no idea how many apps were dropped on them, or the quality. Plus there are many good preexisting applicants not on FR without action yet.
