Congrats to all the waitlisted peeps! I would be honored to be WL's by Yale.
For those of us still waiting, someone posted a rejection today on LSN, so it's not all good news coming out: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/Sterling%20Archer

Does anyone know whether we would have to commit to attending if we decided to keep waiting? I'd be interested in riding it out, and if I got in, then visiting and making a decision...

WL here too.
And no, djfududeman, you don't have to commit to attending though if they let you off the WL in August, they may only give you 24 hrs to make up your mind.

Am the worst TLSer - sorry for lack of stats. Been a while since I've been able to report good news.whippersnappery wrote:Congrats! Did you just get it, or was the email sent this morning?andapieceoftoast wrote:WLed. Cloud nine. Love you guys, congrats to all. I'll be riding it til the bitter end.
Email received around 1130am
174/3.8x
Still in shock esp in light of my lack of luck with other T-3s.
Best of luck to all still waiting!

I really want to start a sound off of who is still waiting for news but I don't want to blow up this thread unnecessarily. PM me if you're still waiting to hear please. Maybe we can figure out the numbers.

Re: Yale c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I'd be interested to know how many WL people are planning to ride the WL and for how long. The email said there are an average of 10 admits from the WL and the range is anywhere between 0-20. It also mentioned there being less than 100 people on the WL per cycle.
Personally, I think that I'll wait through the end of June and maybe through July though it depends on what my housing situation ends up being (i.e. if I have to sign a non-refundable lease earlier than that).

Does anyone have any insight into what's happened in previous years to those still waiting after the waitlist was released?

Got my WL email at 12:30 PM. Guess its most of us then...
Gracious thanks to all of you who pulled out cause, like the ding-wave dolphin, I hope to surf this one to the end and its always helpful not to have to compete with you guys lol
For stats purposes, lsats 173/178
Two years out of undergrad
3.8
What I hoped would be a standout 250, though honestly having read some of the ones on that thread there are much better ones out there.

There are some pretty impressive applicants still waiting. I wouldn't be surprised if there was another small admit wave or another wave of WLs at least.Scvaz7 wrote:Soooooo if you didn't get Waitlisted it will be a ding? Say it ain't so!
