Time to abandon my delusion.

Here's hoping I can make it before my birthday in mid-March.

Can LS22 or any of my fellow 1.5s make an estimate of how many offers are left after today's wave? Divide that by the estimated number of batches till April should give me a pretty good idea of what my expectation should be. I heard the March wave will be a look-back wave though. Man I dont even know what im talking about right now.

:(

mine hasn't updated.
Mine took around 20 hours to change, if I remember correctly.

Any chance we could get a new poll for people ITT still waiting for JS2s? Maybe asking what month your JS1 was?

I really hope so. Today was the best of days and the worst of days.

Estimating around 625 JS2s gone, so roughly 225 remaining. But to put it in perspective I also estimate they have made around 3,500 decisions. So if you're still alive, you are still in the game.

Well, I think March has traditionally been when they start really looking back at held applicants and after not getting in by the new year I was focused entirely on March until someone who interviewed in October got in last month. I think people in our situation should be looking to March, and I think that's when our files will start to get more time from the admissions people.

Hang in there. There will probably still be people like us who get in without being waitlisted.

Originally I thought getting straight in without being WL'ed would be nice since it gives me the option to defer if I need to (and it looks like I most likely will). Now I dont even know if im gonna be dinged before WL. This is really a tough situation I find myself in........I really don't want to retake LSAT and reapply next year. That would just be cruel.
What other schools are you in at?

Hey, I went complete two weeks ago, with a 155 LSAT & 3.6 GPA — I'm "still in the game" LOL

Hello! Congrats to all the new admits! You should all be so proud of yourself... HARVARD LAW... HAAAAARRRVAAAAAARD LAW WANTS YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Now.... I applied early January and went complete on the 31st.. should I be worried that I haven't heard back for a JS1 yet when spots are being filled so quickly *trying not to panic* 172/3.98 ^.^

Don't be worried. You'll probably get a JS1 soon and then be accepted.

Using my 3000th post for this.

First, CONGRATS to all the acceptances here. It was so exciting to, one, FINALLY have normal people get in (sorry-not-sorry, a 180 is not normal), and two, see friendly faces getting calls :D :D :D . Especially you, chneyo  .

Second, there's going to be a lot of movement in the next few months. If you pop in and post "JS2!!!!" and leave without posting your stats, I assume you did not get enough likes on your "Harvard Law 2017!!!" facebook status. Put the numbers up or at least put percentiles. I know receiving PMs is fun, but come on, be reasonable here. This goes for dings and WLs, too.

Third, it has always been my dream to be popular enough on an internet subforum for that people wonder where I've been  . This specific decision just got a lot more stressful for me, so I'm laying low for the next few weeks. Or at least trying too.

TL;DR: I am very excited and proud that we're finally seeing friendly faces get in but very salty that so many people had to be chased down for stats today. You have Harvard stats! Be proud of them!

I just got the call 5 minutes ago from JS herself. Sounded like an idiot I am sure.

I DO NOT fit the pattern of admits so far:
Applied early Nov; Interview early Dec.
SPLITTER: Great LSAT (>>75) ; <<<<25 GPA (with strong addendum and some grad work); good softs.

Also, I didn't think my interview was so great, but JS Mentioned that "X really enjoyed your conversation." Not sure if everyone gets that, but take it as you will.

I love TLS for all the info and support, good luck those of you still waiting! Don't give up hope.
She told me this too. I get the impression that it is not a unique thing to be told, but it is also not a lie.

Congrats to you and everyone else!

I'm not terribly active on TLS, but I just wanted to give every single one of you guys a quick congratulations. Despite the decision, we all know this has been an incredible feat for each person. Take time to relish in your accomplishments and the fact that you guys were even able to confidently submit applications to schools such as HLS. No single decision, good or bad, is going to define your self worth - nor should it. You guys are incredible people and I definitely wish you all the best; its humbling to witness someone's journey (even if it is simply by lurking!)

Huge congratulations to those with a JS2 and best of luck to those still waiting. You guys are definitely an inspiration.

@malleusdiscentium i got the same impression; i mean it's not like you'd be likely to get in if your interviewer hated your convo
