Anyone know if the turnaround time for app to interview was for the last cycle? If you went complete early and didn't receive an interview in the first couple of waves, was that a bad sign?

'Cuz it feels like a bad sign.

MDLG - some people went complete in the first wave 10/10 last year and didn't hear back until 11/18 for a JS1. Obviously some later than that but that's all I can say for sure.

In other news - Bee or Specs need to change their tar!

Some people with the exact same numbers and completed dates as me have gotten JS1s and yet here I sit, quiet on all fronts.

Checking in. Just submitted on LSAC today. I am not holding out too much hope with my numbers, but I do have solid softs, and you never know! Fingers crossed... :)

I'm definitely not worried about the fact I still haven't gotten a JS1.

It went about as well as I could hope for. My interviewer was JS herself, who was super nice, and it seemed she had taken the time to read through my application. Won't go into too much detail, but I'll just say there weren't any curveballs and the guide to interviews thread helped tremendously. The interview logged 14 minutes and time really flew. My only concern at this point is that my responses might have sounded too rehearsed.

The 2 minutes between the appointed time and JS actually initiating the call was the longest 120 seconds of my life.

Lastly, I wanna thank the guys here who wished me luck. Hope we make it to HLS '17!

Now, lemme go down some beers...

Every time you post I want to pick out something you say and respond with "Hey, that's life."

At the ripe old age of 12, I realized shit happens in life and you just gotta deal with it. I've been using it for various screen names since.

This whole waiting for a JS1 situation feels like being stuck in Pine Barrens with Chrissy and Paulie from the Sopranos.

A question for those done with their interviews!

Do you just stay online on skype and suddenly get a video call from a random ID at the appointment time?
Or does the admissions person "add you" on skype prior to the interview?
Just curious about how that works since I have mine quite soon........

They add you a few days before. Then just log on and wait. They may not call at exact timeiso don't freak.

huh. So if I have my interview very soon and if nothing new popped on my contact should I be worried?

I'm in the same boat, and my interview is tomorrow. I guess there's still time, though...
