I would rather know the minimum LSAT and GPA the school's let in so I don't feel like I'm trying to outrun an F1.

At least Yale lets me know they've admitted a 3.13 and a 152 just this past year, so I feel like I have a chance :P     :|

I would guess that there is at least one sub-3.0 GPA person somewhere at HLS.

I have your exact same GPA and I got into Harvard. I have a slightly better LSAT but in the end I am pretty sure (per my interview) that overcoming my terrible GPA was more about my Diversity and Personal Statements than my LSAT.

So I would say you have a good chance if there is more to you than your numbers. HTH.

Joining in. 3.78/174. I'm not confident though: 174 is a third retake, and my GPA is hovering just above the 25%.

Pretty sure wtrc took the test 3 or 4 times. His highest was 174 and he got into HLS this cycle. I believe his GPA was around 3.8.

I bet you'll do better than you think.

I am non-URM, but other than two pretty sweet internships, some extracurriculars, and a nervous condition I mentioned in my PS, I'm not too special.

How much better was your LSAT? A 174 is just above their median, while a 175 or 176 is at/above 75th percentile.

I got in with numbers less than that, FWIW. (Non-urm with average softs). I retook the LSAT a third time and raised it, but I had gained admittance prior to that.

I have a 176 but my softs are definitely below average, i.e. no internships to speak of etc.

Joining you guys. 4.03/171, but the 171 is my fourth take. I doubt I’m getting in, but it’s worth an app.

Hopping on board after my second LSAT attempt. 3.75/174, 5+ years out of UG. it's a reach, but being from MA, my relatives won't forgive me if I don't give it a shot!

I hope the internships are enough to hold over. I hear so much mixed opinion about them that I just assume they mean nothing.

Considering my academic past in high school/freshman year, I'd be absolutely honored to even get waitlisted at HLS.

So I checked last year's thread (I'm sure this had been done already, but, well):

There was a big batch of held/rejection e-mails on Friday, January 11th.

Then there was a big batch of JS2s on Monday, January 14th. These JS2s included even really recent JS1s (like January 10th).

JS1 = invitation to interview with an admissions officer (JS = Jessica Soban)
JS2 = acceptance phone call

so for that big batch of held/rejected -- do you know what % of those folks got JS1's ?

that would suck if you got a JS1 and then get held/rejected in January :(

So a batch of rejection emails this Friday and a batch of JS2s Monday? That's plausible. Although I wonder if the fact that there have been fewer JS2s at this point (as compared to previous cycles) will cause this to be shifted a few days. I could see some JS2s this week.

Based on the kinds questions I had in my interview, I would definitely agree with this.

For example... (?)

I'm interested in this as well: what questions are you guys referring to?
