I got mine the day after I submitted. You haven't received the confirmation email from H at all? Does it say on LSAC that it's complete? I'd call and see what's up if yes.jaesonko wrote:How long did it take ya'll to receive your status checkers?! I submitted two weeks ago but haven't received it yet =\

God I'm such a moron. I used my school email address but put .com instead of .edu. Guess that explains why I haven't received my Penn status checker either. I hope you're right. Only one day of accepting people who interviewed/went complete on similar dates to mine, and I'm already going crazy here. Waiting over Christmas break would be painful.....lawschool22 wrote:My money is on both days.wtrc wrote:Just landed.

I reaaaaally doubt any JS1s would be sent out before Christmas. But hey, who knows. We can freak out together. My certainty in my previous statements is decreasing as I type this. Damn.malleus discentium wrote:JS1s the day after complete are possible? Well crap on a stick. #brbcrying
I'm super excited because one of my close friends from college did TFA and is enrolling this fall, so we can be friends again
(also congrats to everyone else and good luck to those still waiting!!)
(also spreadsheets are scary)
But complete 11/7, JS1 11/8, Interview 11/15, JS2 12/18 (obvs :p)
And 75+ish for both I think, I don't remember H's specifics. Hope this helps somewhat?

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
I leave for a few hours and so much activity (although, I guess it's expected on a day with JS2s going out).
I know I'm already late answering these questions but here it goes:
I am a domestic applicant
I was told by a coworker who overheard the whole thing that I sounded composed while on the phone with JS although we did chat for a bit (I did the same with my NYU call - I tend to get chatty when excited)
I somehow ended up on the floor after the call. Stepped out of the office to let my parents know and then was fielding phone calls for the rest of the day from family. Did not get drunk, but I did go see HER in theaters (highly recommend).

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
Sorry -- I meant for those who went complete so late (like me). That example seemed like an outlier. For everyone else, it would make sense that they would want to have interviews the first week back -- and since those slots are currently unreserved, it would make sense for the JS1s to go out now.scoobers wrote:please explainthe_pakalypse wrote:

I think I am trying to convince myself to have low expectations

Also, I want to give a huge shout out to everyone in this thread for helping me to channel my application jitters on TLS so that I could remain somewhat functional in the non-virtual world.
Congrats to all JS2s and good luck to everyone!
And if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM!

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
So after 31 days of deliberation I have still not gotten a JS1 - 176,3.7,Top-5 School,Non-URM,typical softs, transferred as undergrad twice, graduating in June - I don't mean to misplace a "what are my chances?" question, but what is the rational assessment of this development? My take is that is represents a significant diminishment of my odds of success, but that it is not totally atypical for people to wait more than a month for an interview. I have gotten this from the spreadsheet, but what are the other perspectives on the long wait for interview?
(Also I've noticed that a large majority of those already accepted with U-25% GPAs are at least a year out of undergrad, can anyone remark on this trend?)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
