So last time the JS2 calls covered 26 days of JS1's per the spreadsheet (10/17 to 11/12). This would suggest this time around JS2s will cover JS1's from 11/13 to 12/9. Another way of looking at it is that JS2's came out on 11/25, which was 13 days after the last JS1 that it covered. So if they come out today, we would be looking at them covering JS1's through 12/5.

Any thoughts on the predicted cutoff date of JS1's being somewhere between 12/5 to 12/9? Or does the lag time seem to get shorter as the cycle progresses?

Last year, edgeofthenight was admitted on 12/21 after only receiving a JS1 on 12/11. Not sure when the actual JS1 occurred, but I'd assume at least 12/12 if not later. HTH

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt. Post history is legitimate-no signs of trolling (sorry for stalking your posts, heythatslife!), and they were just accepted to S yesterday and mentioned being international-it very well may be the middle of the night wherever they are. I don't think they're trolling.

eta: unless the friend is trolling them, in which case it's still not the poster's bad.

Yeah...I'm curious about the friends post more than heythatslife. Was it referring to a JS2 they just got, or one from the first wave? Hard to tell. Either way we will know in time.

Unconfirmed acceptance to Stanford yesterday makes it less believeable IMO. Also, none of us want to believe that JS2s are going out unless we got one already so nobody's getting the benefit of the doubt unless we know them personally.

If someone has read this thread, s/he will know that mentioning JS2s without any bit of detail with cause chaos and panic and anxiety amongst some of the posters ITT. And op did just that. You can't post JS2s have started again and abandon ship.

But think of the health benefits! My heart has been racing (on behalf of y'all) and I'm still waiting for a g-d JS1. That has to count for some cardio, right?

lol so much this. Someone I know: "Why would you even consider going to Yale or Stanford over Harvard? If I saw a lawyer commercial I'd be more likely to go to them if they said they were from Harvard."

I had no idea how to respond

Yeah, plus judging by post history (again, I do apologize for stalking your posts, heythatslife!), they live in Korea, where it's nearly 3 AM. Normal people are asleep by 3 AM.

I'll repeat what I said yesterday in the Stanford thread when people were questioning the first reported acceptance of the day: it's easy to forget that TLS is a tiny fraction of the overall applicant pool. There are ~150 people on the Harvard spreadsheet, and over 6,000 people will apply to Harvard by the time the cycle ends. We are not a representative sample.
