Wow..did you have yours recently? How did it go?

And I'm just worried because nobody has been added as a new contact on my skype account. If they added me, don't I get a notice or shouldn't I see it on my contact? (not a frequent user of Skype)

I also have an interview tomorrow and also haven't been added yet, I don't think we need to worry.

I had mine a week ago. I think different interviewers have different approaches on adding contact. So don't worry. Just log on half hour (or maybe one hour) earlier and wait. Heythatlife said it was the longest couple minutes in his/her life. Indeed it was.....

Good luck and have fun!!!

huh. So if I have my interview very soon and if nothing new popped on my contact should I be worried?
Not sure what you mean by 'very soon,' but I got a contact request the night before the interview. As long as you've double-checked that you wrote your skype name correctly, I wouldn't be worried.

Be stealthy but drop that information somehow.

Good luck!

Anyone else check their spam folder for JS1 every few hours because someone in this thread said theirs went to the spam folder?

I just received an interview invite as well.

To help you impatient ones--I received the application complete email about a week ago. My GPA is above median and my LSAT is over the 75th percentile.

That would be a full three weeks before last year, so I doubt it. They did start JS1's slightly earlier this year, however, so it is possible that we see them earlier than normal.

This is possibly an ignorant question, but I would be grateful if you all would indulge me. The info on the first page says that there can be a JS1b later in the cycle clarifying continued interest in attending Harvard Law and that it often goes to people that have been held or waitlisted. Is there any formal process for letting candidates know that they've been held or waitlisted so early in the cycle?
For example, if I have my interview next week and get held or waitlisted, will I find that out the same time they're sending out the first wave of acceptances? Or will I just have to interpret silence from the adcom as my answer?

If you have your interview and aren't in the first few waveS of acceptances following it, then you will most likely be held in January/February if last cycle is any indication. Note that you shouldn't expect to hear back in the first round of acceptances necessarily.

ETA: Please also note that we have no idea how any admissions committees might change up procedures from last cycle, so there's no reason to jump to conclusions.

Brilliant, thanks. Basically what you're telling me is that there is only so much obsessing I can do because anything is possible. Seems legit.

Had my interview. Very friendly people over there. You all can be less nervous about it, they're not evil stooges or anything. Just gotta be you, right? :D

If you want to prepare a little for it, just check out anecdotes from earlier interviews. I had no curveballs or anything. But they do read your application closely, so make sure you know it well too! I was glad I re-read some of my materials right before the interview.

The hard part is afterwards, this anticipation is gonna kill me...I'm sure I'll be on here tomorrow just to see if there was some aberrant admit reported by one of you TLS-ers, even though I know there won't be any for at least 2-3 weeks.

Can someone explain to me the line graph on the front page and why it doesn't mean that decisions will come next week?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
