Well...looks like another wave missed. I think I'm probably headed for the waitlist at this point.

I'm waiting as well arrow. But I don't think you should give up hope yet. Since the only js2 that are known so far are URMs.

Do y'all speculate that there will be another massive ding wave before the WL is released? I think today's wave corresponds to the wave on 3/29 last year (which was also a mixed wave)

I have a feeling there will be further action this week. They wouldn't release a wave on Tuesday and then go silent, right?

Yeah, esp since it was a URM wave. I still have faith that we'll see a lookback JS2 wave pre-waitlist.

As far as I can tell from here/the URM thread (anyone who knows otherwise please feel free to correct me)

No, not a URM here, so I assume it wasn't a URM wave. But I am a super splitter who's been waiting for a long time - I hope that bodes well for the rest of the long waiters out there! And everyone else. You're all great.

I'm curious, what is everyone's gut reaction when they see either a ding or a JS1/JS2 sent to someone who is their number twin (+/- 1 LSAT, +/- 0.05 GPA)?

This exactly. Plus add to the ding a "gee, I wonder if I really screwed the JS1 up THAT badly" fleeting thought.

At this point with the deadline approaching, I think they pile up a set of heterogeneous, mixed decisions and send notifications asap.
i agree with this - i think at this point they're notifying people as they make decisions to meet their deadline. and i think this week is going to get much busier, for better or for worse!
