What a pleasant, positive attitude!!!! Sorry about the Ding, but you seem like a great person :D
I mean, the dude has a 177. Harvard is the amazing full sugary frosting on what is likely to be a very delicious cake. Same goes for most of us. See it in stride: we will all end up somewhere fantastic!

If you don't mind me asking, are you K-JD?
Nope, not K-JD. I probably overestimated how great my work experience was too, especially considering the amazing things that people who go to Harvard have done :)

Very sorry edward....

But does this mean dings are coming to people with JS1's? Because now I am going to be living in a nightmare where my email will terrify me even more than it already has for the next few days

Sorry to hear it, edward. As others have said, you will have great options elsewhere.

Two other dings posted to LSN in the last hour.

I would much rather get dinged right around now than waitlisted. I just want to know where I'll be next year...

By waves do we mean they send all the emails out over a course of a day like JS2s or they send out all the emails at once like ripping off a bandaid?

This. Sorry NorTTThern Illinois University, I do not want to attend your Diversity Day. On second thought, I'm not sorry.
