cusenation wrote:lol i'm on SBA, the alcohol-ban after the halloween party was really just a nominal punishment. By that point in the fall semester no one really drinks anyway cuz it's finals season. It was just a slap on the wrist, our alcohol privileges are reinstated with the caveat that we're more careful, which we honestly should have been in the first place. It was a miracle that were no serious injuries at that part given how much of DAT NEGLIGENCE there was.

Does that mean we get to throw another Halloween party in the courtyard next year?

my favorite part (besides the kickass party; I saw people drinking out of hats and plates when they ran out of cups) is that the law school building is anheuser-busch hall...

The entire room started giggling once we opened our exams. But i felt that i was at a disadvantage because i wasn't actually at the party.

There are very few things that are 100% certain in life. But i am 110% certain that WashU will never let the law school throw a halloween party in the building ever again. Ever. The cleaning bill was...eye-opening.

I kind of figured. I'm guessing that precludes any actual party, not just Halloween. I'm glad I was there the one time that the Administration let their guard down. Sorry you missed it.

Wustl 1Ls, can you give us the full run down of this party? The level of shenanigans and free booze will definitely factor into my decision.

For real. Plus we don't need their exact party bro.

Merkin, cuse, sublime, can any of you dudes elaborate on the party? Sounds like a good story.

That above the law article makes me want to think law school actually might be fun.

Well if WUSTL gets scholarship info to me before Friday, that article seems very persuasive :P

Interviewed and accepted! Does anyone know if scholarship info typically is included in the acceptance email, or if that's something they send out later?

Congrats! Scholarship info will be sent later. A bunch of us who were accepted in mid-December still haven't heard about $$ yet.
