This conversation was in early January. Sorry you're sitting on such a huge gap. My best guess for what she meant is that the first wave covered most early admits and that the second wave (early Feb per her indication) would cover most Dec/Jan admits. After that, the scholarships should get rolling a little faster.

But, this is all speculation based on one conversation where I didn't push too hard for more substantive info and a bit on last year's information.

I've been admitted well over 8 weeks and I definitely have scholarship numbers. I really think it's a bit early to freak about $$$.

It's definitely too early to panic about money, especially since they've sent out such tiny waves. I was just concerned with the timeline given to another applicant that seemed to contradict what many of us are experiencing (more than 6 weeks with no offer).

2 weeks. But it is literally just a copy of the email with nothing else included.

+1. Mine was about a week after the e-mail but if you just go to your e-mail and hit print, you can have it today. It's exactly the same.

As an aside, I am curious about their aid this year. Do they aim higher to try to snag more sticker low T14 people? Do they raise the standards for them, or keep them generally the same? I would imagine what they did last cycle is unsustainable. Despite Wash U's huge endowment, I doubt they are that thrilled to be spending that type of money on the law school.

Also, some like Spivey have mentioned it was possible that it was an "emergency fund" type of situation - no idea if that is true or how that would affect this cycle.

It should be interesting regardless! Good Luck, and I hope they continue to throw around the money :D

Hi,sublime. I am international applicant unfortunately on waitlist last month, Do you know what my chances for enrollment? Should I wait for the final decision ? Do you know the time they dealing with WL? I dont know much about Spivey, Can you give me some suggestions,Whether it is necessary to become a client ?Sorry for so many questions.

What are your numbers? PM me if you're not comfortable posting it

I have pm you already, 20%<LAST <50% maybe.

Yea, it is going to be really numbers based as Cuse indicated. You don't need to become a client of Spivey (although I am not saying that you shouldn't either), he just used to be an adcomm at WashU and still knows people. From time to time he is nice enough to through some info our way. And he has a pretty big thread on the Admissions subforum where he answers questions.

Sorry to not be more helpful, but it really is 90% or more dependent on your numbers. And especially if you don't have a "standard" GPA, that will probably make your LSAT even more important.

Like Cuse said, you can PM either of us if you are more comfortable with that. He may know a bit more about international applicants than I do though, as I am not entirely sure if that will affect your situation.

My LSAT between 2 0% and 5 0% according to the 2013 data. I’m worried about that though I have a strong soft I think.GPA is not standard, but superior quality . I was waitlisted without an interview LOL

I got invited to do a phone interview, and my appointment is coming up. How does it work? Do they call you or do you need to call them? Thanks in advance.

Another prospective student with an interview question. I selected a Skype interview, but it sounds like Skype often has frequent connectivity issues. Would it be unwise to call their admissions office and request a phone interview instead? Thanks!

I think that would be wise. Phone is a safer bet for lots of reasons. Don't have to worry about connectivity as much, but you also don't have to worry about dressing up or tidying up your surroundings.

Speaking of interviews, how long are most people waiting between hearing an answer after the interview?

It seems as if the week of the interview, your decision goes out that Friday.

From what I've gathered they release decisions every Friday. On some occasions, if you interview late on Thursday or Friday, the decision can get delayed to the next week.

Someone else may be able to confirm this?

I'd deny that, at least in my one anecdotal case. Interviewed Friday at 1 (or was it 2)PM. Had an acceptance email later that day.
