Wow, congrats on all the scholarships and acceptances! Given those huge scholarships, is it a sign that they'll be pretty generous again this year?

I'm hoping they'll throw a little cash my way...

I doubt it. No dean and I feel like more of us would've gotten more money yesterday if it were a sign they'll be that generous.

Not saying it won't turn out that way (I'd certainly prefer it), but I don't know that two near full-rides justifies getting our hopes up yet.

Congrats to you two though! That's awesome. Would probably make my decision.

Perhaps I'm confusing this with another school, but I thought WUSTL didn't give out $ info this early last year? Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm not 100% sure. But if so, then it could be a good sign. I'm not full ride material anyway, but I wouldn't need a full ride to commit :D

They give it in waves. First wave came out 2013. The general consensus ITT was that we expected the next scholarship wave the first week of February. It appears there was a wave (or a trickle or something) now too.

The AdComm I spoke to indicated that basically nobody will wait more than 6 weeks between their acceptance and their scholarship info.

Starting when? Because I've been accepted for over 8 weeks with no mention of money.

That's weird. I'm sure you'll get something with your numbers, though. These "batches" of scholly offers are weird this year.

This conversation was in early January. Sorry you're sitting on such a huge gap. My best guess for what she meant is that the first wave covered most early admits and that the second wave (early Feb per her indication) would cover most Dec/Jan admits. After that, the scholarships should get rolling a little faster.

But, this is all speculation based on one conversation where I didn't push too hard for more substantive info and a bit on last year's information.

As an aside, I am curious about their aid this year. Do they aim higher to try to snag more sticker low T14 people? Do they raise the standards for them, or keep them generally the same? I would imagine what they did last cycle is unsustainable. Despite Wash U's huge endowment, I doubt they are that thrilled to be spending that type of money on the law school.

Also, some like Spivey have mentioned it was possible that it was an "emergency fund" type of situation - no idea if that is true or how that would affect this cycle.

It should be interesting regardless! Good Luck, and I hope they continue to throw around the money :D

Hi,sublime. I am international applicant unfortunately on waitlist last month, Do you know what my chances for enrollment? Should I wait for the final decision ? Do you know the time they dealing with WL? I dont know much about Spivey, Can you give me some suggestions,Whether it is necessary to become a client ?Sorry for so many questions.
