Try Value City furniture. There's one in St. Louis. Their furniture comes already assembled, but not too expensive.

We'll have a mix by all likelihood, and you can post advice to the whole thread for all I care. Executing the good advice and pure luck are the real difference makers it seems. But yeah, you won't have time to mentor all of us sitting ducks.cusenation wrote:I'm going to have some difficult choices to make if too many of you get Tamanaha/Baker/MandelkerFiero85 wrote:Haha no worries. Nah, they'll definitely throw something. I'm a Tigers fan and I thought they were crazy at Comerica Park. St Louis is a whole 'nother animal.Dredd_2017 wrote: I brought my Giants shirt in the hopes someone would throw something at me, but the way they've been playing I'll probably just get everyone's deepest sympathies...
Don't worry, as a Dodgers fan I can assure you that at least one guy will throw something at youDredd_2017 wrote:At the airport in California and surprised at how excited I am to finally see WUSTL. I applied late so couldn't make it to the admitted students days, hope St Louis is cool because I know all of you will be!
Also, baseball! I brought my Giants shirt in the hopes someone would throw something at me, but the way they've been playing I'll probably just get everyone's deepest sympathies...
wtf what kind of Canadian likes baseball, and let alone the dodgersFiero85 wrote:Njdevils, everyone: a Canadian with the most random American sports allegiances ever
To clarify my sporting allegiances: Devils fan because Martin Brodeur made me fall in love with hockey. Became a Brodeur fan and then a die-hard Devils fan through that. As for baseball, I've played high level competitive ball my entire life (won 7 provincial championships, including last season) and for the first 5 of those championships I was with the same guys playing for the Dodgers. When I became more of a baseball fan, I kinda just naturally turned to the Dodgers and never looked back.lhanvt13 wrote:wtf what kind of Canadian likes baseball, and let alone the dodgersFiero85 wrote:Njdevils, everyone: a Canadian with the most random American sports allegiances ever

Were they devastating insults you can't remember? If not, tourist.scottidsntknow wrote:Attending an Eagles/Cowboys game in Philly had to be the highlight of my sport watching experience... I may or may not have thrown things at Cowboys fans
Went my first Cards game last weekend. Took the metro. Everyone had their red shirt tucked in and used an inside voice. That ended when the train announcer said we were at the stadium and everyone let out a collective "YAY!" LOL at this conquered city.peachesthedoge wrote:wait but actually cardinals fans have a reputation for being really nice
chances are, the most you'll get are eyerolls and a comment or two

Canadians.
Don't be butthurt because we're civilized here. Except for the rampant violent crime. Ignore that and we're extremely polite and courteous. Basically, avoid the likely outcome of being murdered and you're good to go.bulinus wrote:Went my first Cards game last weekend. Took the metro. 180, I think I'll send this to my friends when they ask what St. Louis is like from now on.Ricky-Bobby wrote:Don't be butthurt because we're civilized here. Except for the rampant violent crime. Canada has high level baseball? Even the Blue Jays aren't high level most years.njdevils2626 wrote:To clarify my sporting allegiances: Devils fan because Martin Brodeur made me fall in love with hockey.
