Having lurked on TLS for a while before poasting, it's definitely a lot more fun to chat with folks. Plus as a 1L you'll never find an audience more willing to hang on your every word than a dozen eager 0L's :D

I just had my wait-list interview. I think it went really well. My interviewer was really nice and made me feel comfortable right from the start. I got a great vibe of WUSTL from him.

Everything about this school really makes me want to go to WUSTL more, more and more!!

If anyone has questions, feel free to pm me!

Seriously, it's been super dead in here recently. Let's talk about things. I'll start: What are you all up to the summer before entering? As for myself, I've worked for the past three years (full time summers and part-time during the year) at an accounting and bankruptcy firm, mostly handling proposal negotiations so I will be doing that again while playing high-level baseball (defending provincial champions!) and taking a couple small vacations to relax

I'll probably look to get in early enough to get settled and party it up with people, so I definitely look forward to it!

Same. I will be working and visiting family I never see. Spending weekends at the lake. And a couple of small vacations.

Oh, and I will be moving up August 1st! Yay for 2 weeks of no work/partying!

My first goal for the summer is to pick a friggin school already. Then I will work like a doge for the rest of the summer to save as much money as possible. Yeah, I'm cheap like that.

Intra-continental traveling. What up, Mexico? 8)

I got a couple goalie camps I need to help out at too. We pretty much line up 8-12 year olds in the nets and just tee off.

"Coach, my head really hurts. I think I took like 3 right off the mask"

"Yeah well, my hand hurts from shooting so much. So, there's that."

Most of their reactions...

Evil, yet still hilarious.

For me it's no work, just relaxing and visiting far flung family. Time to get my (Computer) game on 8)

Kindly, fuck no.

 As Fiero and I have discussed, chicks care about goals and homeruns.

"Oh I had a couple assists/batted .320"
"Did you get any goals/homeruns?"
"No :| "

^haha exactly my man, gotta swing for the damn fence.

No ladies cared when I hit .500 over a whole season. Nary a one.

Chicks dig the long ball. And one touchdown counts for like 1000 good blocks  . That alone changed my approach to baseball/football from 8th grade on.

This sounds like an excellent plan. I'm looking for temporary summer jobs to make some money before august but so far I've got nothing :(
