Yeah anyone seriously considering WUSTL but a hotel room would make or break your visiting budget, PM me. I have room to host (sorry ladies I live with 4 other dudes so this is a guys only invite lol). Just throwing it out there.

I would think that'd be a reason to invite the ladies haha.

I got the travel stipend email. I'd love to go, but coming from Phoenix, that wouldn't even cover air. :(

I'm pretty sure Phoenix to St. Louis is only like 20 hours on the road. Cowboy up and get $200 worth of gas. :)

Does anyone have any idea when they will starting looking at WL applicants? Is there a historical pattern? Thanks ahead of time for your help.

This data is a few cycles old but (someone correct me if I'm wrong) I think it stays fairly consistent. Good luck!

Edit: these numbers I believe are just charted from LSN so probably it's best to ignore the numbers of acceptances, WL's, rejections and just focus on the timeline.

I didn't get an email offering to cover travel expenses :(

I take it they only offer that to certain applicants, or do they send them out in waves?

Are you already admitted?

Yeah, i think those of us who got them are already admitted.

Been lurking for a little while. TLS has been extremely helpful during the application process and waiting time, so I'm finally checking in.

Admitted 10/18.

Yep, I'm an admit. But I'm a semi-reverse splitter for WUSTL so my guess is either a) they're inviting the stronger admits or b) they don't send them all at once.

There was nothing unique or identifying in the email, it just says to pick up a travel reimbursement form when you visit and fill it out. You can email the admissions office to confirm, but I think you're good even without the email.

Oh, cool. If I want to visit, I figured I'd just beg them if they don't offer it beforehand. Only three of my acceptances have offered travel stipends (WUSTL, Vandy, and Tulane). Kudos to them.

I got some pms and I may have asked before earlier in the thread, but with my interview very soon I wanted to make sure I was ready for it. Were there any curveball questions? Please pm me if you don't feel comfortable posting it.

Things I'm prepping for:

Why WUSTL
Why Law
What are my career goals
Specific things regarding resume and PS
Why (insert undergrad)
Why (insert major)

Have questions to ask during/and at end

Anything else? Thanks in advance!

All that- and I was asked if I had been to St. Louis (I actually live here now), and if I planned on staying here after school. Mostly in relation to why WUSTL and why St. Louis.

The only thing I can think of that I was asked that wasn't on your list was they asked if I thought I would have a hard time adjusting to STL. Also they asked if I had an idea where I would like to work after graduation. Mine only lasted about 15 minutes and the lady was very nice. Good luck!

I was asked if I had been to St. Louis before, and if I had an idea of whether I wanted to do transactional or litigation. Other than that, your list seems pretty solid.

I graduated last year so they asked me what I've been doing since then. Besides that, I think your list covers pretty much all of it. My interview was only 10 minutes, haha. Good luck! :)

Thanks again to everyone that replied! I'm hoping it's short and simple. If they don't ask me much I would be so happy haha...kind of sick so I feel congested and it will definitely be heard through the phone.

+1

I think it was mainly an attempt to gauge interest/sell me on Wash U. Then again I interviewed on campus and it was really laid back.

If you are a splitter, they will ask about what made you a splitter.
