You guys should put some kind of code in your email so we know if we are talking to a TLSer or a muggle.

I did too. The "Admissions Account for School of Law" definitely gave me a bit of a heart attack...

Yeah my point was not that living here without a car is impossible, but rather that if you're planning on living here car-less, just be mindful of where you choose to live. Because the public transportation is basically one east/west line from the airport to downtown. I wouldn't recommend living very far north or south of the metro link if you don't have a car or car access at least occasionally.

Edit: forgot to quote but this is obviously in reference to the previous page

Not even close. New Hampshire's a bit of a haul for a 2 hour open house....

I just got an email about travel stipends up to $200. It won't help me, because I don't live far enough away, but I hope the stipend helps some of you get to see the school.

Even though that doesn't cover the flight (at least at the prices I see right now), it definitely might be enough for me to come visit.

Travel stipend won't cover everything, but it'll definitely help get me out from Boston

Yeah, it won't cover my flight either (not to mention having to pay for hotel, etc.), so I'm undecided, but it's nice that they're offering something.

Major props to WUSTL - of the schools I've been admitted to, definitely the best at reaching out to admitted students so far. Really impressive.

Just throwing an offer out there. I'd be down for sharing hotel room with fellow TLS'ers over an ASW.

Yeah, I'd be down for some kind of room-sharing situation as well.
