Any good spots to eat that are close to the law school?

Hey, you had your fun! And I'm sure with the "tryin' to chill" group well represented, they will express how much will be missed.

Cue obligatory Scott "March rules, April drools" comment.
Exactly. I should be in the tryin' to chill group.
We'll have Peaches print out a cardboard cut out of you to take pictures with. Same thing.

so, uh...I somehow screwed up reservations for the Crowne Plaza and they're now completely booked. coolstorybro

So any 0Ls staying at the Seven Gables by any chance??? Still down to meet up with the Crowne crew since it looks close on the map though it could be completely misleading.

the metro takes you some places and the crowne plaza is a five minute walk from the clayton metrolink station so taking the metro to/from wash u is probably your best bet, but the metro stops running around midnight so you may need a cab home if you go out at night

I received a random email just now from admissions informing me that they are unable to offer me additional scholarship money, but the thing is, I didn't even ask! I was actually holding off because I wanted to have all of my other offers in before approaching them. Did anyone else get this email/what should I read into this? This is my first choice by far but just cannot make it work financially, so really disappointed they didn't even give me the opportunity to present them with other offers.

I did not receive that message--but I was already upped once by 100% (unsolicited).

Let me translate what that email says though: First of all, scholarships are not "money" but rather "discount". That being said, you cannot exactly run out of "discount", you can only hit a point where the marginal enrollment/net revenue garnered through additional discount is not worth that additional discount. Essentially, that email says they've hit a point in their cycle where their numbers look like they'll hit their enrollment and net revenue goals without having to give any more discount.
