I'll be 28 not too long after starting. I've been referred to as a "boomer" by a 90's baby.

Could be worse. You could be turning 30 before law school.

Well, if you already have a qt3.14 and your life going and all, it's probably not that bad at all

In past cycles has there typically been a second scholly bump? If so when? I'm currently at 75k not sure if I would go unless I could get up to 100k(simply because my other half won't leave San Diego until I reduce the imposed debt), what would be the best play at getting a second bump? Would I need to put the first deposit down then see what shakes out or just hold out? Are chances pretty slim, that's a big bump at this stage in the game I would think?

Other than accepting admission and depositing, is there something that needs to be done to officially accept scholarship offers? I know some schools have a form that has to be signed by a certain date, but I haven't seen anything from WUSTL.

I'll be 28 not too long after starting. I've been referred to as a "boomer" by a 90's baby.

Do you have the fin aid award email? There were directions in that email about accepting your awards and everything and sending that back in.

Wait, so actually here's the language from my email:

To accept the Scholar in Law Award you must submit your first deposit by Tuesday, April 15th, 2014. Log in to the Admitted Students Portal to submit your deposit.

Yes but I'm talking about fin aid award emails, which include both your scholarship and your loans.

From mine: The Financial Aid Committee reviewed your application for assistance and makes the following aid award for the entire 2014-15 academic year. Unless otherwise indicated, your award is based on full-time student status. Please indicate whether you wish to accept or decline each part of this award by circling Yes or No on the appropriate line(s) below. Please print a copy of this letter, sign, date and return it to the School of Law. If your award includes a loan and you wish to reduce the loan amount, write in and initial the amount that you wish to borrow. Loan awards are tentative. Final eligibility is determined by the Washington University Financial Aid Office and the lending institutions.

I think to accept the scholarship you just have to deposit, to accept the financial aid (loans), you have to print out, sign, and mail the PDF they emailed you.

hmm...I'm a little concerned because I never got anything from the financial aid office, only the merit email from admissions. I did submit my FAFSA like 3 days late...

Thanks. That's what I thought. But after all the award letter signing talk I wanted to see if I has missed anything.

I don't think that the financial aid award has to be returned by the seat deposit deadline though, does it?
