SEC football is kind of a big deal in St. Louis right now, given Mizzou's recent conference switch and its mixed bag of two seasons. I know a bunch of 'Bama fans, too, for some reason.
Back on topic- I just received an email from our favorite adcomm. I guess you guys spammed the admissions office with calls wanting to include Thursday on your ASD RSVPs, because she specifically mentioned it. Way to go, guys.

Had my interview and visit today! I'll keep everyone posted on their descision! Interviews for ED are apparentley more common as a part of the application so I think their descision can vary more. Mary was so nice though! It made me all the more sure law school and especially WashU is where I want to be!

All of you college football fans must bow to your SEC Overlords. Roll Tide!*

We must make a sacrifice! I must watch you eat a longhorn burger (which are delicious) while you watch me eat fried gator (also delicious). Then we shall douse ourselves in the blood of our rivals and dance in jubilee that we have succeeded in our ritualistic ceremony.Naijababy93 wrote: How can we ever be friends now attax?

I can only assume this is due to the flood of "Hey, I want Thursday too!" calls.Wash U Admissions wrote:This year we have added a Thursday evening reception to Admitted Students Day. We have since updated the RSVP form online, but some admitted students had already registered by the time this change was made. Please confirm, by responding to this email, if you will be attending Thursday and Friday, or just Friday for Admitted Students Day so that we can get an accurate count for food and beverages.

Just got the acceptance letter in the mail. I smiled at it being one piece of paper with a little recycling symbol at the bottom.

WashU's obsession with being green didn't bother me until they decided to not sell bottled water anywhere on campus.guyfox wrote:Just got the acceptance letter in the mail. I smiled at it being one piece of paper with a little recycling symbol at the bottom.

Sorry, I know this post was a few pages ago, but I just read this in the NY Times obit, as well -- that he went to Wash U.
So sad. Think this weekend is a Ghostbusters/Animal House/Groundhog Day-watching kind of weekend, in preparation for ASW.
Also +JenniferLawrence to the list of March ASW.

I've already warned the WUSTLers I am much less amusing live. Live performance is a tricky beast. We'll see though!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
